Not doing the 2x/week Stones schedule. Quick run. If it sells well, would not be surprised to see more dates.

As long as the audience continues to like what you're doing and you continue to enjoy it, why would you stop? You could probably find clips from 1975 of people saying the same thing.

I like an old quote by Billy: “Robert Plant can sing & Mick Jagger can’t. But do I listen to Robert Plant? No, I listen to Mick Jagger, because he can’t sing & he sounds great.”

QuoteBeastyBurdeny Not trying to stir up any mixed emotions here, but given their history of touring new albums in the USA first...would that not be the case again? Personally, I'm hoping for a euro trip next summer. Just wondering if people are expecting them to break the mold on their typical album release touring habits--if a new album is on the horizon. They could do something like

If anything was going to stop them, it would have been losing Charlie. Only illness or infirmity will completely shut them down imo. So who knows. Grateful for what we have, and it's enough, but anything new would be exciting.

QuoteRollingFreak QuoteStoneage I guess he was eager to tour his new material. Seems like he put a lot on effort into that. Like a last farewell or something. Otherwise you can always argue about ageing artists and money's value. I guess it's sold out anyway though. I mean, he's over 80. Feels like he can do whatever he wants. He's not playing big places like he did for hi

Saw Paul Simon this week. Huge fan. After the Stones, he's my #2 musical obsession. I have mixed feelings about it. Glad I went. The band was amazing and it was good to see him back. But, at 83, he sounded and seemed very much like an old man, and the arrangements were very, very subdued in light of his hearing issues (no more rocking out the Graceland tunes). Can something be depressing and

QuoteProfessorWolf well mick did say a few years ago that he isn't leaving his kids any money wouldn't it be weird and ironic if abcko ended up with control Well, it would only be a few dollars per kid, as many as he has, ha.

The opening night boot--the one I had was called A Piece of Gold--is a cool listen even though the band wasn't firing on all cylinders yet.

QuoteDoc Send it to me, you don't take the archives and the home videos into account. That means we had less empty years I think We also had On Air in 2017 El Mocambo in 2022 GRRR Live, Shepherds Bush and a few more True. I guess I don't "count" official bootlegs and videos in my mind for these purposes, for whatever reason.

A B Side that could have been a single. Buried gem. I think Ronnie wrote most of this one, after one of his children was born.

I was living in NYC for a while and, of course, it was like the only NA tour to not hit NYC, ha. Took the train to Hartford for the second show. The Huskies were playing in the ncaa championship game that night and the crowd seemed kind of distracted but it was a great show. The entire tour had amazing set lists and the band was hitting. I remember the girl I went with saying, "No 'Sati

Rarely spin this one. It's... fine? But if I had to pick the best post-Tattoo song, it might well be "Highwire."

It's 2025 and we might get another Stones record. Just appreciate what we're living through. It's remarkable.

Agree with SoulSurvivor on 2015 missed opportunity. Imagine if they performed all ten songs from Sticky Fingers every night and kept Mick Taylor on for this... Shows I saw: 1. 2013 Chicago 3 (the Taylor Swift one) 2. 2015 Kansas City and Columbus 3. 2021 St. Louis 4. 2019 Jacksonville Did not see a HD show, sadly.

QuoteRollingFreak QuoteSend It To me I read somewhere he has a band but will not be doing certain numbers due to hearing issues, he specifically mentioned that they can't do "You Can Call Me AL." I would never have assumed Al. In my mind, things that are possible are: -50 Ways To Leave Your Lover -America -Homeward Bound -Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard -Sounds Of Sile

I saw Robby Kreiger perform a Doors set last summer. It was a great show, exceeded my expectations. Had a singer with him I didn't know, but did a fine a job. Robby sang "People Are Strange."

QuoteBig Al QuoteSend It To me If I paid $600 to see the Stones and they played 45 minutes, I wouldn't be happy, NGL Likewise; nor would I be happy forking-out any amount for a concert that clocks-in at only 30 minutes. Well, maybe if the setlist was consisted of Highwire, Star Star, Coming Down Again, Let It Loose, One Hit to the Body, Hand of Fate, Mother's Little Helper, and Hang
