It is pretty obvious that they don't want anything to do with me, and yet still I keep coming back for more.
The words of a true Stonesfan.

I am convinced my mother dated Brian in 1966, but she still keeps denying...
Maybe it was Mick?

1. I have met Chuck a number of times as my cousin's boyfriend worked at Charlane.
2. Met Mac in an Atlanta bar when he got up and played with Tinsley Ellis. Bought him a drink.
3. I have given the Rolling Stones several thousand dollars over the past 40 years or so.
4. My oldest son's mother dated Gregg Allman, who was in the ABB with Chuck. Her good friend dated Leon WilKerson from Skynyrd.
5. Several of my first cousins met Charlie Watts - they thought he was a real class act.
6. I always tried to look like Ronnie Wood, but ended up looking a lot like Bill Wyman circa 1981.

I play bass in a local band.
Many years ago our drummer was in a band with trumpet player Roddy Lorimer.
Roddy (with horn section Kick Korns) played on Steel Wheels.
He tells a story of arriving at their first session and being greeted by Keith and Ronnie who welcomed the Jocks (Scots) warmly and offered some alcohol.
According to Roddy Mick quickly appeared and ushered the horn section away from K and R in order to get them to sign their contract for the session.
Slightly OT they also played on the Who's 89 US Tommy Tour.
On the flight home Roger Daltrey handed each member of the brass section an envelope containing a bonus payment over and above their fee.

My closest friend was taken backstage to meet Keith in 1994 and he invited her to a party.
But the $10,000 question is: did she accept the invite??!!
She was actually brought backstage after a concert by Stones staff at Keith's request. He had seen her from the stage. She is blonde, pretty, and 26 at the time. She met him, they talked for awhile, and he invited her to a party. She declined!

Do you know why she declined the invitation?

Yes...she wasn't a big RS fan, he was twice her age and she didn't find him very appealing. She didn't say this, but she may have felt that there would have been an expectation that she would go back to his hotel afterward.
