Yep, I sign this. And another wish is to see the credits of a possible forthcoming album spread even: all songs written by Jagger/Richards/Wood/Watts/Wyman/Taylor.

Quotegotdablouse Roger should really stop milking the past though, nearly zero material since...1992! Perhaps he thought that the technology was good enough today to perform The Wall worldwide. 30 years ago the show was visually good but today it's much better. Thinking about this technology and the original Pink Floyd performing The Wall! That would have been a spectacular show. But

Quotejpasc95 - tv series : no hesitation, I choose the Persuaders..it's a pity that they only played it for one season (70-71) ! I agree that The Persuaders is a fantastic TV series but it's not a western...

Lots of great western movies so it's hard to choose the best ones (one that comes immediately to my mind is "The man who shot Liberty Valance"). Also many great Westerns on TV but perhaps my favourite is "Alias Smith and Jones".

Quotestonesnow QuoteSingle Malt I remember seeing this film in the early eighties and thought it was very good. Haven't seen it in years so it would be great to watch it again. The full movie is available in the first post in this thread. The soundtrack is also available on CD. cduniverse.com So it seems, thanks. I gotta watch this soon...

QuoteWeLoveToPlayTheBlues QuoteSingle Malt Stones have recorded many bad tunes but there's one that gets my vote for being the most horrible Stones song ever: Back to Zero. Gimme Back To Zero anyday over Streets Of Love. Well, Streets of Love ain't far behind in my list

Excellent album and I've always loved it. Hot Stuff, Hand of Fate, Hey Negrita, Melody and Crazy Mama are all brilliant. Cherry oh Baby is hilarious piece and Memory Motel a good ballad. The only real no-no is Fool to Cry but there's usually one no-no in every album. Maybe some day they'll release that 11-minute bootleg version of Hey Negrita. Fantastic version.

Quotefrankotero I'm American and I prefer soccer, uh-oh hope I didn't start a war. But I must defend our beers. Recently our brewing culture has taken a dramatic turn for the better. I'm very proud of that. Yep, America's got lots of great microbreweries.

"has been accused of assaulting a person at a Mickey Hart Band show" Well, Keef assaulted a person at a show in 1981 with his Telecaster so what's the news? Seriously, this news flash doesn't tell anything so I'll wait for more info before making any judgements...

Good analysis, Doxa. To me Under Cover is the last good album and the rest just weak efforts (with some very good songs, I admit, like Back of My Hand). But since Dirty Work they sound like The Rolling Stones trying to imitate The Rolling Stones, if you know what I mean. Keith trying to be the Keith everybody expects him to be and so on. And the songs are perhaps too obvious. When compared to

Many great songs to end an LP (like Shattered, Moonlight Mile, Fingerprint File, Soul Survivor etc.) but somehow Crazy Mama is excellent to end the marvelous Black and Blue album. It sort of gives a hint of what to expect in the following album. After fantastic funky Hey Negrita, jazzy Melody and ballad Fool to Cry it kicks right back into rock and roll. Great album, great song.

Well, well, well. If the new tour is similar to the ones we've seen 5-10 years ago then new album, please. If the new album is similar to the ones we've heard 10 years ago then new tour, please. It depends so much on what kind of tour/LP there is looming behind a corner.

1969 and US Tour. If it's only a 24h visit I'd surely go to 28th November to see both MSG gigs. But few witty answers here like 1961 platform at Dartford station or 1985 trying to stop Dirty Work

I don't remember they've played this live. That's absolutely fantastic song but I have my doubts about how it would work when played live. I think they just cannot produce that eerie atmosphere on stage.
