I quit: it was a hard enough work to make a short list of 20. It is a pain in my heart to strip it down to 10. Sorry.

How can anyone not mention Down the Road A piece???????? Keith's guitar and Brian's guitars are rocking. Except for Micks voice (still a little high) it sounds as hard and rough as anything else they did. I would love to have heard them play this at El Mocambo.

Go Dawgs!

Mr. Tele, wanted to include Ruby Tuesday too, but I believe it was released in '67 but I suppose recorded in '66, same with Back Street Girl, but just a technicality thumbs up

Impossible to me! Too much good stuff from that era. Gimme at least 20 . .

Yes - I got down to 15 and was more or less crossing things off arbitrarily after that to make 10. And 71Tele isn't the only one to suddenly realise that Between The Buttons wasn't eligible. As a matter of interest, why the 1966 cut-off date? I think everything pre-Satanic makes a more sensible time-frame (though I certainly couldn't choose a mere 10 from that!)

I love the early era.

Kinda surprised at the love "Surprise, Surprise" and "Off The Hook" are getting. Great tracks, but rarely mentioned and rarely (if ever) played.
