Steve Jordan is one multitasking musician. my guess is Keith wanted to collaborate like he's used to. apparently Keith trusts Jordan with the arranging, as Jordan is an accomplished producer/arranger. can get great sounds in the studio. and then go out and play the songs live. He was called (by Modern Drummer magazine) 'the funkiest drummer alive'. also I guess he knows Keit

you cite one of the best! Anybody else love that Keith lays down possibly the coolest bass intro ever? of course that's arguable...but what a groove, and as an example of the Keith/Charlie rhythm section, along with the intro to 'Monkey Man' its a great thing DR

they have given so much. I think we'll see, after this tour, renewed focus on the Stones' outside/other interests..Mick's film company; possibly a role in a movie or two...Charlie back to playing jazz; Ronnie and Keith rounding up some folks to record. in 2009, we can hope for rumors to start about another Stones tour! I hope they do it (of course) but Man thats a lot to hope

this post is from Feb. 25 of last year, and I've just listened to this boot again, and its great after not not hearing it for several months...what a difference in recording quality between the first and second disc; the second is from a radio broadcast from '74, right? Who is the sax player on YCAGWYW? it sort of sounds like Bobby, but then it doesn't...?? thanks for any info..

Its always seemed to me very unlike Charlie to have a heroin habit, I know it comes with the territory but from what we know of him it still seems unlike him. also its always seemed strange to me that Charlie hit Mick, that he would go to that length, just because of something Jagger said when he was drunk. So Jagger is a good French speaker?

can you imagine the Stones whining about 'we've been on the road sixteen years'.. like Robbie Robertson.. I guess in their case enough was enough. Mick: 'how long have we been on the road?' Keith: 'we been on the road 'bout forty five years ain' we?' Charlie: 'seems like forty eight.' Keith: 'I'm gonna roam this highway u
