..lots of others I won't mention from favorite directors like Hitchcock, Scorsese, Tavernier, Herzog, Altman, Allen, Eastwood, Ford, Lean... Still haven't seen lots of classics. Like the music, I prefer 60s/70s movies. Tonight I'm gonna watch E.Rohmer's "Pauline on the Beach" on TV.

I thought the casting was too obvious in this one. It was a very good soundtrack as I recall, though.

did someone else notice the similarity between the song waiting on a friend and 'Sport' Matthew saying the same thing to Travis Bickle - I'm just waiting on a friend
