could I add to this since Kienan brought it up? I'm interested in how Robertson is thought of by people like yourself, T&A and Kienan, and others who know about and care about The Band... since I recently got 'A Musical History', and didn't have the remastered cd's, or the originals for that matter, I'm glad to have an extensive box set. and the DVD is enjoyab

Lukester, wish I'd seen that, no I really didn't get into SE until after I heard 'Train A 'Comin" then I started going back and listening. I thought Copperhead Road and Guitar Town were OK, but that one CD really got me. now I have a question- are there a lot of Steve Earle boots circulating? I'd like to trade if they're out there. I missed that show but eve

he does a great 'Sweet Virginia' too. he's always had the 'back to the wall gonna make my stand' attitude. Great stuff, makes his records with analog gear, as much as possible. great live. you can usually see him and band in small venues. I love it. Will Rigby on drums, Roscoe Ambel on guitar, Kelley Looney on bass.

yeah they love Roy Williams! he is the new Dean Smith. my son plays in a Y basketball league, and before one of their games a Duke game was on TV. clearly, among the kids watching this game, it was not cool to like Duke, particularly JJ Redick. funny. Redick is great.

Elmo, up here in Charlotte its crazy for hoops! the Duke vs UNC Chapel Hill rivalry is like UGA vs Clemson, in football... no. 1 Duke inspires hatred around here...its weird. most people in Charlotte don't like Duke, and love UNC. I heard its because a lot of yankees go to Duke. ;-)) !! personally I like watching Duke play, they are a great team.

I saw them do this song in '75, not long after Ronnie joined, and remember him playing electric on it.

Cool movie, German filmmaker and cast, then it goes to Louisiana! I enjoyed it but it is slow and subtle (very) at first. just wondering if anyone else cares to comment? very sly humor in this movie. and if you like southwest Louisiana music you'll enjoy the story. DR

amen to all above comments, especially Rev. Robert W.'s pointing to "Do Right Woman" as a summation. Right on. also the 'Return of the Grievous Angel' cd, produced by Emmylou Harris, with Grams songs done by various people (great version of Hot Burrito # 2 by the Mavericks) is a good tribute cd. When is Stanley Booth going to finish the GP biography he stated he was wr
