>Aerosmith, a Stones copycat and a much younger version, can only handle playing 16 songs per night and 85-90% of their set list is identical every night.> On their current tour Aerosmith's co-headlining with Lenny Kravitz, right? That's why they don't play as many songs as usual.

JP sent me an e-mail, he proposes a subscription of 20 euros or dollars for a year. I think it's worth it, but I've not figured out yet how one has to pay.

Yeah, good post! It's easy to overlook that there's so much interesting early stuff. Happened to me too. I mean, I've got everyting on vinyl, but on CD I just started with BB, LIB and so on (I do have the London Years Box though). Lately I've rediscovered the beauty of early songs (and of vinyl!) like I'm waiting, All sold out and Yesterday's Papers, the 'Got Li

Biggest mistake. Great melody. It can be done the way they play Dead Flowers. Mick on acoustic, Ron & Keith doing fills. Keith on BU vocals. I can see it in my dreams!

Came across this on the net. It's quite funny. Enjoy. RnT Loaded magazine (Nov 95) Jon Wilde interviewer. K: I was always thinking about chicks, but they were never the motivating reason for playing rock and roll. Funnily enough it was there for the guys to get off on. Then it just changed overnight. A hit single and suddenly it was all 13 year old girls. @#$%& amazing! The we

Just listened to I'm moving on of the (imho) fantastic Got live ep. I think it's got Brian on slide and Mick on harmonica. But at the very end you can hear Mick shout 'Auw' while the harmonica goes on. I think the harmonica might have been dubbed. Thoughts anyone? RnT

Just listened to Undercover. I think the solo on 'The pain of love' is great!

I really don't understand the moaning about Ronnie. I've checked out all the video's of this tour on Rockpassion and he's playing great. RnT

Mixed emotions. Thought they should've stopped after John's death (probably after Moon's). I must admit however that I was impressed by their playing at Live8. Much better than I expected. They really blew many young acts away. RnT

Is the intro done by one of the guitarplayers? Or still piano? And do they still use that horrible clicktrack and fake percussion? Or is it more like 75/76?. RnT

Thanx for your report Tony. You're right. The way they play and sound (with lots of energy, guitars up in the mix, often stripped down to just 5 or 6 musicians) is far more important than the setlist. RnT

The idea for Rough Justice was Keith's. In one of the iorr-linked interviews he said he dreamed it like he once dreamed Satisfaction.

Oh yes. Drop it or at least get rid of the disco beat (used in the tours since 1989!). Terrible.

On RnR Circus Keith played JJF in standard tuning. When did he change to open G? Was it in 1969 already (in the park & on Ya Ya's)?

Well, to be honest: I'd rather listen to Oasis rock 'n roll ripp offs on the radio than boring 'originals' like Keane and Coldplay.

I always liked the way he played slide (in a rough 'n tumble kind of way). He didn't do it that much on stage though. I think he played it on Happy 1976 & Little Red Rooster El Mocombo 1977. Anything else?

The first time I went I was 14, but I went by myself without company of parents. I would say it's all right to take them when they are about 11/12 years old, if: 1. you've got tickets for seats (it's terrible if they have to stand up for hours and don't get to see much); 2. they really like the Stones (then they won't mind the waiting);

Listening to the sounds samples on rockpassion.com on headphones I thought I heard one clean amp against one distorted amp (and a little timedifference, maybe a delay).
