I think ive been listening to the stones too much lateley. Last night I had a dream that I was listening to still life, and Hound Dog was on it. and I thought " I didnt know they did that one on the 81 tour".
In one dream Charlie was lost at the event arena - and I saw him wandering off in the distance, and he didn't know where to go. Somehow I mystically guided him to his hospitality room, where his family and the rest of the Stones met up with him - they then thanked me and asked me to go on stage with them.
It's strange though, in a lot of the dreams I have, something is wrong or amiss
thats a good one. I like on the documentary on four flicks where it shows charlie back stage. at the club in toronto he has this pissed off expressioin on his face and he says "where's the stage? is there even a stage here?"
can never understand the appeal to some of Love you Live. The El Mocambo stuff is great and the couple of songs from '75 are good, but the '76 songs are terrible and contain the most unlistenable vocals of Jagger's entire career
Ya Yas by a mile
Most underrated? The Got Live if You Want It EP. Despite the primitive sound quality, the performances are absolutely brilliant and the atmosphere is electrifying.
Four Flicks is a great package and IMO the most essential official Stones release (audio or video) of the last quarter century.
I agree with a previous poster...they've all got their moments
Ya-Ya's...the live Midnight Rambler, and the chick asking for paint it black
Brussels...YCAGWYA, MR, and Angie
LYL...the El Mocabbo (sp...?) stuff
Still Life...my first offical live album from a tour I saw them....Under My Thumb cuz it still gives me goose-bumps reminding me of when they took the stage, Shattered for Keef and Ronnie's backing vocals, Just My Imagination and Let Me Go...cuz they nailed them.
Flashpoint...JJF, Satisfaction, Miss You...all at break neck speed...but I like them anyway...Factory Girl...restoring a gem.
Stripped...the companion is something I listen to more, but Little Baby, Spider and the Fly shine.
No Security...for Sister Morphine, and the Last Time....also the crowd singing Saint of Me...
Live Licks....other than CYHMK...nothing stands out for me.

Right on Gazza, the Got Live If You Want It EP is the ultimate live document of the Brian era. It's exactly as they sounded in concert in those days and you're right, the performances are electrifying. I actually think the sound is pretty good too. I was spinning it on my turntable the other night. It's such a shame that those EP tracks are not together as a package anymore, or am I missing something?
Having heard most of those mentioned, I can't understand why anything but Ya-Ya's would even enter into anybody's mind. Most of the time, I believe it is their best alblum ever, but I have been to so many live Stones shows that that may just be my bias.
