I can imagine that all the sessions have yielded some good songs, but that the recordings have been fragmented (different sessions, studio's, Charlie probably drumming on clicktrack on some songs). They might try to re-record them to achieve a more coherent live feel. Ofcourse this is speculation on my side, but obviously they're not totally convinced with what they got so far.

Wonderful record. The fantastic playing aside, Rory was also a great singer. I really love his voice.

Maybe it's been posted already, but in Dutch paper De Volkskrant from april 2nd Keith said: A new Stones album will be released. Only thing is we've not decided yet what to do with the songs we've recorded with Charlie. We could make an album out of those songs, but recording a complete new album with Steve is also an option. First thing to do is to go out and play (live).

By the 3rd song I had tears in my eyes. What a gem, wat a band. Rock 'n roll doesn't get any better than this. Thank you Bill and Charlie, thank you Rolling Stones.

QuoteTopi QuoteDomonkos I see no other reason why they rehearsing in Amsterdam instead of London. Warm up gig and/or a corporate one. Or is it somehow Brexit related, easier for the crew? Could be a taxation issue as well. Promotone BV

Quotemidimannz It’s a great effort I feel. It would be technically really tough to perform under that pressure They do a better job today than the current guitars (oops) to recreate the sounds I fully agree. Great sound, very well done.

Live Fullhouse is imho one of the best live albums ever imho. 'Blow your face out' is fantastic as well. They opened for the Stones in Rotterdam ofcourse, they really got the crowd going. What a great band! Love them, Woofer Goofer!

I would try to stay near Leidseplein the days before the concert. There's live music Sunday evening in a bar called the Waterhole. You can check out Paradiso and The Melkweg too. Many great bars around. You may try hotel Park Centraal.

The Springsteen tour seems to be postponed until 2023, so that woud leave plenty of time to play with Nils Lofgren. I really hope that will happen. To me Barn is a great record that I keep going back to. Love the movie too.

Quoteronniewoody91 QuoteChristos QuoteBassbourne Will be my first time seeing the Stones live, so I can't wait. This post is the best answer to anyone asking why are the Stones still touring! So true! I got some online friends who also will see them for the first time and they are absolutely stoked! Hell, I will see them for the 3rd-7th time, and I am completely thrilled, I CAN NOT

QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack Don't think so. In the Netherlands you won't need it for sure (at this moment) But you do need a negative test for the occasion at the moment, for example to get into a concert in Paradiso.

I bought the vinyl version of the album last saturday. It’s pressed on 2 LP’s, so you get 4 sides of gorgeous sounding Black Keys ‘live in the studio’, paying tribute to their blues heroes.

Imho the results of Mick’S session with the Red Devils were underwhelming compared to the Red Devils’ King King album. The whole was not greater than the sum of its parts.

I was living about half a mile from the Kurhaus when the Stones played there. I was two years old. Became a fan ten years later and somehow the knowledge of the Kurhaus concert made me feel even more connected to them. Still does. Even spent my wedding night at the Kurhaus hotel. They've still got some great pictures of the concert in the basement room. RnT

QuoteDegsy Looks like this is the 1st of a trilogy? "The album will be the first in a trilogy to be recorded in the coming years by Ronnie Wood with His Wild Five band, each paying tribute to Ronnie’s musical heroes. Ronnie chose Chuck Berry for the first album as he has been a lifelong fan, has toured with him and also, to honour his sad passing just over two years ago." Yes, Wood

Quotemr_dja QuoteDandelionPowderman It's one of my dreams to see this brilliant band in concert, mr_dja. The same goes for Peter Wolf. It's time to realise that the East coast isn't the world's navel, Peter! From your lips to Pete's ears! His solo tour is actually coming far enough south this time to be within about 4 hours of me (Atlanta & Nashville) on consecutiv
