Oh how I'd love to have that Altamont CD you have! I thought I used to have a boot of that show but not sure where it is now. Interesting collection there though. That one just got me excited.

Nope, not this version although thank you for the reminder! Great stuff. I love Tumbling Dice from this set too!!! The main difference in what I have( and again this is off the Zune Exile album download) is that Mick's voice is more normal without the countryish bluesy twang/drawl he used on the album. Much cleaneer vocally and musically. Great to hear but not quite the original. Very strang

I recently added my cd's (official and boots) to my Zune HD player. There were some cd's I couldn't find (Exile being one) so I downloaded those from the Zune Marketplace. Now last night I played Exile and when Shake your hips came on I swear it was a different version. The vocals were different. Sure it had been awhile since I had heard it but still after years of listening it was

NICE!!!Thanks. Any chance that he may have played It means alot? One of the many Keith Solo songs that I would love to have heard as a Stones tune with Mick doing vocals on.......

I'd love to see a well done Stones game. I'm always pleased when the games that are out include Stones songs....fun to play. Although some guitar purist hate the game I love playing it with my son. Add the drums and the mic to sing along and it's good fun. Like pretending in front of our mirrors when we were kids...

At least, for me at least, the music is much more prefered on the Stones set! I understand the folks that love the art and all...but it seems to be a lost art in this day and age. At the end of the day the music is all that matters to me and for me the Stones are always on top with that. I know different strokes for different folks and all so I don't have a problem with someone lo

FF best overall, but I do love the BB. The Austin Show is awesome. But Beast of Burden is in the extras on FF and the MSG Show which rocked on HBO not to mention the Theater show......Get FF now and BB as soon as you can!

I've often thought of many songs on VL forward that had they been released in the 70's then they would have been top hits, played often on the radio and complained of as war horses at concerts..lol I think my favorite of the latest albums was VL...just loved it and thought of it as the next Some Girls in my opinion. I would rate ABB right behind that one. Of them all Bridges is my least

Thanks for the info. That reminds me, I used to have a boot of Altamont but haven't come across it when loading my boots to the Zune...perhaps it's lost or mislabled? I sure loved hearing that first playing of Brown Sugar!!

Well said Saturn, well said!!! Back of my hand was great live in Tampa, and a great blues song. Loved almost every song on this one. Can never be too long, and I wish I could find a way to get the 2 bonus dvd songs ripped so I could add them to my Zune!!! Love Under the Radar!!! Still great rocking by our Stones.

Having just loaded the 3 boots I have from this tour to my Zune Player (Live'r, Detroit and Baltimore) I wondered about the term Soundboard that is given to these. They certainly don't sound like what we expect from current soundboards but then again this was 1969...........But are these really soundboard and are they the best out there for this tour? Feel free to add or discuss any inf

It ranks near the top of my chart, often rising up above or back below many other Stones ablums.....

Well I just bought the 32 HD Zune today. Should have no problem getting all the albums on there!!Think I'm going to go through my collection and only replace the ones that may be lost or messed up/scratched.

Thanks again for all the info. My goal is to get all the albums on a media player (probably Zune) and to replace all the cd's I lost due to transfering them from the home to the car over the years...scratches and such. I just hope the Zune has enough storage to get all the official releases on it and as many boots as possible too.

Thanks for the info. I may just go with buying the set and ripping those to add to the Zune. Can't wait to go through all my bootlegs also to add some great shows to listen to without having to dig through all my cd's!

Since some of my cd's are damaged/scratched I am thinking of getting the remasters. But also I have though of going with a Zune (prefer it over IPod) and would like to put all my cd's on a device like that. Are the new remastered albums only available on itunes? I think that is for Ipod only right? Or will that work on a Zune? If I have to I will just buy the cd's again but it woul

Not only would official releases be great from this period but I would also love a No Security dvd. One of the best intros and great shows. With all other tours getting a dvd I always hated nothing was ever released for this. But 1978 would have been a good time to release a new live album even after LYL as they played so much new and great material on this tour.

"The Way You Make Me Feel" would be a good one for the Stones to do if indeed they were inclined to do one. I can hear Jagger's voice doing that great.

For some reason the horns always reminded me of Chicago's "Along Comes a Woman" Which came out around that time. It seems the Stones song was first...

I agree with you Kent, excpet for the 10 or 11 songs...I've always felt the more the merrier...Plus if there is crap and they put out a buch of songs we have a better chance of getting the better ones. If they cut out some songs there is always the chance they cut out what would be a gem and we miss out on it.

I watched Jerry Lee's set, and a few before that.Jerry's set was fine but the ones before that had alot of dropout of the vocals at times....

One of the best tours, and sadly nothing official released from it. I would have loved a dvd of this tour. Have to settle for boots, but would love this in better quality. Route 66 on the b stage was great as was Rambler. Some Girls and Moonlight Mile...as well as others at different arenas.

Brian liked CCR before he died. I believe Wyman said in his book that Brian wanted to start a new band with that type sound. I myself would love to see John singing as a guest with the Stones.

The turd is still on from time to time, but not with his old charm and mother in law issues, it seems. I still have the " go to the hell" post saved if Daniel ever shows up again.

I was quite pleased today, as I live in a small town that didn't even show it in the theater, and it was played nowhere near me. Then today I drive by the mall which has on older theater where they now show movies that have long been out and have finished their run. They show them for $1.00 per ticket there. And lo and behold I drive by and Shine a Light is playing! So I got to see it today.
