Quotefrenki09 I was wondering... When was the last time Tumbling Dice was NOT played? I could really do without it but that seems to be Mick's all time favorite so I don't see it ever being dropped from the set list. GASP! How dare you? But to each their own. Having said that, there are some on people’s wish list I have no desire to hear myself. Last night’s set list would be p

I’m sad to hear this, I missed the post previously as I haven’t been on as often lately and only glanced at some threads then. RIP dear lady. It was a pleasure sharing this board with you all these years.

QuoteGasLightStreet When I bought my first Rolling Stones album I was enamored with it, albeit Side A mostly. Then again, the big red cover and the name ROLLING STONES. I had just turned 11 years old 10 days prior to its US release and not long after started 6th grade. Heard Start Me Up on an AM radio (from inside a teddy bear). A girl in my class, the daughter of a local grocery store (wh

Indeed I always wonder why, when I hear one of Keith’s extended solos on Sympathy, wonder why it wasn’t on the flashpoint track. Guess they needed room to include..” hit me one time……two times…three times…four times…hey hey hey. Hey hey hey” Also love Highwire, got the cassette single of it back then too. Love Sex Drive as well, but I do admit I didn’t love it as much back then as a late teen

QuoteVoodooLounge13 Could it be the lack of Charlie?? For me, it just doesn't SOUND like a Stones record. Specifically, it doesn't SOUND like the Stones. I hear Mick singing loud and clear, and it's the best he's sounded since B2B IMHO, but the album lacks the distinctive Stones sound.... I am happy it's doing so well in the charts though!! Very happy for them, and

Quotepowerage78 Black in Black and Highway to Hell certainly. Let there be rock and Powerage for some. I’d venture to say all Bon Scott era albums and add Razors Edge. I also loved quite a few on Power Up. And For those about to Rock almost….I think that’s where they ran out of gas a little and Flick of the Switch after it was my least favorite. Kind of floundered a bit to me until Razors Edge

Great to have the then new songs on stream now. I’ve missed them since losing my old cds. Atmos sounds great all around as well on my Apple HomePods. Bring on the new album now, please.

Yea I did get your mail. Much thanks my friend. Sorry it took so long to reply. Life has been hectic lately, but that was as much appreciated. Not my favorite version but it is tied as my favorite song so I love hearing different versions like this. Also being in the States I seem to have no option I can find to buy short of hard copy.

Looks like a no go there. As you said it looks like I’ll need to purchase whole album to get that one song. So I’ll own my x number of the other tracks they again. Getting the one song for 30 bucks plus lol.

When Honk was released several years ago, I had just started using Apple Music so I never purchased the cd or anything. So I’ve never been able to play BoB live on on the extra disc. That is the only song on the collection that isn’t available. It’s always given a not available in your region yet message on that song. Always imagined it would be available at a later time yet 4 years later still n

QuoteTaylor1 These posts should stop trying to make Keith a tough guy. Great writer , guitarist, but tough guy with a quick blade is silly. Although I would have enjoyed a fight between mutual combatants with Elton Indeed, I’m sure Elton would show him his “blade “.

QuoteProfessorWolf yeah its really hard to place to that point and to make it more confusing as i pointed out in the other thread on this outtake there is a vague resemblence with a riff keith plays in this song and the one he plays throughout los trios guitaros from 1977 so maybe even an early demo for some girls? That would make sense and fit in With Mick’s falsetto better. Not t
