QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotemarcovandereijk Mick (co-) wrote two songs with the title "Think". I must admit I love them both. I love the Aretha Franklin song with the same title as well. The song at hand surely sounds like it contains more instruments than the ones listed in the original post. I feel pretty sure there is a mellotron present. I'm a bit tired today, but what

A favorite of mine, that shows maturity at that age, despite the "girl" saying he lacks maturity. One of the many Stones songs where they get it and sing about things many, if not all, of us go through. This whole album was amazing like that with great, early Jagger / Richard writing.

I'm really curious on that now. Don't have my boots to double check. I saw then in December 1997 just before the St Louis PPV which didn't have that. So wondering what dates you saw them then? Was it on the 1998 dates or the later 1999 dates after the No Security Break?

I think it started on the NS tour and since that was in the middle of the BTB tour it carried over to the European shows. Is that when you saw them? I don't believe it was done on any of the U.S. BTB shows, but I may be wrong. Certainly wasn't done when I saw them on it.

Quotewith sssoul Quotebeachbreak For Brown Sugar, it looks like Keith was initially playing the opening lick to Start Me Up, caught himself, and went straight into Brown Sugar. I've seen him start Brown Sugar instead of Start Me Up (at which point his body language turned into one big Oops), but that clip sounds like Brown Sugar all the way to me, just with a pause in it. Maybe he was b

I second that! This book and Bill's Stone Alone together give you a great in depth look at those 60's years. Is there anything telling us what was "updated" with this?

GOOMC as its the only one on the list I haven't had live. Would love to hear the guitars live on that one. As it so happens as I type this I am watching them play that on the from the vault 75 show right now. Guess there goes my chance for Beast of Burden....

I can honestly say, while participating live, I didn't feel the negativity myself. Although one problem with written communication is the reader can't always easily pick up the emotional feeling or meaning of how the writer presents it. This can lead to misunderstanding and bad feelings. Or perhaps after so much complaining until now that any small complaint to one can be the proverbia

QuoteJesse Good Grief! This is as bad as a group of first year college students trying to outdo each other with one-upsmanship. BV made it easy: post setlist complaints and whining about Mick Taylor on another thread. What's with all the defensiveness? Making sure you get the last word in? If the Stones DO read this, I suspect they're getting a good laugh at your expense.

Hey Jesse, I never saw you reply to me, so I hope I didn't upset you. I think we both misunderstood each other but I hope I didn't offend you.

Quoterelms QuoteCristiano Radtke Thanks for the compliments, everyone! It's very appreciated. But I must admit it's hard to follow the updates when we have a lot of whining here. We all know that the Stones don't surprises us with their setlists at least since 2013 - I mean, we can maybe have 2, 3 or 4 songs that can amazes us, but that's all. We all know they will play t

QuoteJesse Quotetumblingdice So you miss when we had to wait 30 minutes or so to find out what song was played next? Hoping someone on the board knew someone at the show that could call or message what was played? Yeah.....good times. I much prefer following along live and sometimes getting that great feed with good sound. No I didn't say that at all. Please don't exaggerate. Sorry,

You honestly would prefer just a setlist report that we could read people complain about as opposed to actually being able to hear them play live and talk about the actual show instead of the setlist only? I love this that we can be a part of each show this way.
