I spoke with Don Was last night at a Crosby, Stills and Nash benefit for Autism. I pretended to forget exactly where the rehearsals were being held. He was nice enough not to smack me and advised that he doesn't know yet. Very nice gentleman.

Ten Years After was one cookin' little unit. Saw them at The Electric Facory in '68 I guess. I just dug up my Alvin Lee / Mick Taylor audience recording from Philly '81. He could play that thing. R.I.P

Wilko Johnson is my favorite rhythm guitarist. And I've seen some others. If only he had come back to America after the one Feelgood tour...

Happy New Year! The temptation to see this film is obvious, but be prepared. There are more Stones references in this film than in "Crossfire Hurricane". Do NOT miss the opening scene of the movie. A real brain jolt if you're not expecting it. Come on Tour 2013...

Hallelujah! To watch K.R. play stroke-for-stroke versions of these rhythm guitar parts is "don't blink" time. There is a passage in "Brown Sugar" which requires 6 guitar strokes and Keith has only played two of those six strokes for many years. All the strokes are back and I almost had one watching this remarkable re-focus. NOW they shine a light.

To have The Rolling Stones playing for the public again is a joy without equal. On With The Show.

Wow. I avoided this film for years due to the "unique" lighting which was a major distraction. (The stage lights wouldn't fit on the ceiling so they placed them BEHIND the band...looked like they were playing on a merry-go-round). I had no idea this new movie blacked out the background! Problem solved in a dream-like fashion. The band now stands out like stained glass windows...as

These are definite "must hears". I forget who's on bass but Anton Fig is the drummer and the fantastic G.E. Smith is the "other" guitarist...which anyone would be playing with the Almighty Beck.

Damn. I really don't consider myself too wimpy, but I cried watching the Floyd reunion at Live8. I may have "concentrated" on seeing the Stones live, but Pink Floyd put on some of the best concerts I ever attended. R.I.P.

Could someone please post or direct me to the "Aftermath Isolated Trax"? I've only been able to download one of the four CD's and it is a revelation! The posting on Pirate Bay isn't working for me but this material is Ear Candy Supreme.Thanks.

OK..So Gimme Shelter is the winner, eh? Here's a bonus that must be heard to be believed. This gentleman's website has a 9 track version of Shelter which can be completely separated and re-tracked and re-mixed to your heart's content. The top of my head almost blew off when I found this. Enjoy.

To those of us who saw Gram more than once in concert, there is no need for anyone to describe his magic to us in a book. Absolutely had to be seen to be believed.

Hey Man, how many times do we have to buy these albums? Everyone should agree that the Obsidian 13 CD set and the Place Pigalle 4 cd set basically eliminate the need for the band to issue and archive box set. I am privy to a party who has 15 CD's that NOBODY outside the band has ever heard. I mean completely unreleased and undocumented jewels..."deluxe editions" are a ruse. Wyman s
