No interview. Late night talk shows usually never have time for an interview with the musical guest. They perform a song and that's it. On late night talk shows...that format is the norm.

Still this is still quite a rare appearance for Chuck. He wasn't on Leno since he and Little Richard were on TOGETHER. That was almost 10 years ago...and it was a complete wreck unfortunately. Those two individuals are too incredible to be stuck together on one stage...they need their time individually.

Chuck's performance tonight will be incredibly interesting!

Hope it's good...but the only person in history who's been more out of tune than Chuck is Leno...

For the record....Chuck @#$%& NAILED his appearance tonight on Leno. He did Johnny B. Goode and he was focused, playing majestically and not a bum note to be heard. Blew me away...he was incredibly good...for a usual Chuck Berry performance...even better for an 81 year old and just what we need from the Father of Rock and Roll!

Whadda way to start the day! Take note Mr. Richards, you CAN still play AND sing...and imagine he's got fifteen years on Keith!

Geez, his guitar playing there sounds more like Keith than his own which ussually sounds more precise. Either way, the man knows how to do it!

Well, I heard lot of bum notes, but that doesn't matter - he's still out there at his age. thumbs up

The only good thing is that Berry is till alive. Musically not interesting, he looks ridiculous and just overall tiresome. What's so great about musicians playing untill they drop?

His voice is incredible - certainly not the voice of an 81 year old man. Johnny was very good!

Put yourself in his shoes. Can't blame the man for doing what he wants to do.
As long as he can command an audience, which he obviously still does, then all the power to him.

My grandmother needed to be spoonfed when she was 81 - let's give the guy a break eh?

Great guitar sound.

I can't get over how small that gymnast is that comes out at the end. Seeing her with normal sized people, WOW she is TINY!!!

Pretty good. Thought it was funny the way he was urging the crowd to singalong - even though he was singing the song in a totally different style to the way everyone knows it!

Good for him. Not easy to just go 'cold' onto a live TV show and perform, but he pulled it off.

Yes thanks Sleepy City for posting...no one had posted the clip when I was up last night. Glad someone was quick enough to put this great performance up.

Yeah, the audience was a bit clueless with the chorus had they had know that this was the song were you "Go, Johnny, Go, Go!" they would've sang along. The other musicians should have taken the chorus just to guide the audience and give it a more fuller sound during that apart. The audience had no idea. But what do you expect...it's an audience of like 20 year olds. Leno has the youngest audience which makes it hard for the comedy as well.

But anyway, I've been watching the clip endlessly...I'm just so proud of old Chuck for delivering a good performance on such a huge show.

It's worried me so much that I couldn't even sleep last night.

Obviously, I now have to have one. But where do you buy them at?
