Here's my recording offered for the anniversary of the legendary "shoes" concert. The mix is pretty Keith-y due to my field location. Not to be overlooked is the onstage wonder of Nicky Hopkins and Bobby Keys, guests for the afternoon. Years ago in a radio interview, Keith Richard was asked which moment of which concert had stuck most in his memory through the decades, and he an

Ha! Thanks jb. I'll cop to the "observation" but no royalties required, thanks. My friends and I first held a July 12th party/concert for the 26th anniversary in Long Beach, CA. Response was so overwhelming we did it again for the 50th.And then again for the 55th. Here's hoping the band will be touring next July 12th and I won't have to find my guitar tuner.

Wishing the band and their fans a most Happy Anniversary! Any rock band would be thrilled to have 6 years of success. The Rolling Stones are on their 6th POPE. Hallelujah.

If Keith would play a six string in concert he would nail the studio essence. High or Low, here we go.

Thanks very much wiredallnight...but the music still sounds speeded up, presumably to take less of MTV's precious time. I always wished my TV had a "pitch control" when watching this fantastic video.

I know this site features several very tech-savvy Stones fans so... Has there ever been a properly synched edition of the promo video at the CORRECT speed?

Hello hello, Thanks for you interest. My apologies as I stumble through learning the efficient transfer of these files. Here's hoping: The day after this show I got to talk with Mick and while raving about Terry Reid's vocals, I offered that I thought I had died and gone to a Frankie Miller concert. He gave me the oddest look I hope I ever get.

Hi, Thanks for the "thanks". I hope Mac and Bobby Keys fans get some kicks from it. First Generation definition: my copy was made from the original board tape itself. It's stereo and I guess I would call it a soundboard. Pretty sure this belongs in the "Music Minus One" series. No Keith.

Yes, this is actually The Few Barbarians, as Keith is not present. It's a first generation copy and completists need downloads too, so I hope some enjoy this. Link good for, appropriately, Seven Days.

I feel your pain. For me, the Madison bootleg went a long way towards scratching this itch. And we got it in 1972. Best band to ever take a stage.

Thank you. Very enjoyable 13 minutes. Nothing ever sounded as good as when the Rolling Stones turned their backs to the audience. Jamming with Edward indeed.

The anxiety and excitement in anticipation of this release is indeed warranted. One noteworthy detail is that some of these tracks are FAR from "fully finished". The most historic news is that "It's Only Rock 'N' Roll" is indeed the original version from Woody's studio. Plan on doing nothing else for a few days. Two kinds of people that I
