Hello,

Some guitar-players/Feelgood fans on here may find this [www.wilkojohnson.org.uk] snippet of interest.
Or not.

Anyway you do get to listen to the fantastic 'Roxette' anyway so it's a win-win!

Cheers,

Si.

Way coooooooool Simon. One of the great, unsung guitar players. Definately in my top five.

Classic stuff, saw him loads of times with Dr feelgood and later the Solid Senders, at such great venues as the Red Cow Hammersmith, Nashville West Kensington , Roundhouse Chalk Farm an all the other great venues that proliferated in the 70's.

Back in the Night a particular favourite track of mine , especially of that great Live album they did, it's title escapes me for now ,I have it on vinyl still somewhere

Very cool! Thanks for posting this. I can understand refetting the guitar but unless they were dead I can't understand why he rewound the pickups or changed the electronics. The guitar's original tone would thereafter be irrevocably changed. Still,Wilko can do whatever he wants. He rocks!
