Quoteskipstone That you're whining about it not being the true Led Zep. Wasn't that obvious? So you are saying that I´m a jerk just becouse I don´t agree with you. That´s a great argument. Why not try to say something worthwhile instead of calling me names?

QuoteHelterSkelter QuoteMatti Sad news if it´s true. Besides, it´s not real Led Zeppelin without John Bonham. That's like saying it's not really THE STONES without BRIAN - can't have it both ways Matti..... Not quite the same. Brian was already out of the Stones when he died. The Stones carried on without Brian. Led Zeppelin did not carry on without John Bonham. The Stones have

I don´t think the production is that poor, at least on the remastered cd. I´d say Exile had a muddy sound with Jagger way down in the mix.

QuoteGazza The idea of them reuniting for a long term project after three decades is some kind of bad joke. Plant has moved on. Time everyone else did too. Refreshing to see that there are still some performers out there prepared to do what they truly feel like doing career wise instead of following the dollar signs all the time. I can take or leave his current stuff but although I pref

QuoteGazza Live With Me I dont think its a bad song by any means, but I just dont get why its such a big favourite. Very good intro though. I also think Start Me Up is incredibly overrated. Its a great riff, and the way its recorded is superb plus it ticks all the right boxes for working in a live context - but as an actual SONG? Nope. For me its the weakest track on Tattoo You. Hang fir

QuoteGazzaQuoteNumberOneStonesFanWell, Charlie agreed to tour on ABB with the agreement it was his last, so we'll have to see if he stays true to his word or not. How many times does it have to be pointed out that this 'quote' (which no one has ever located) is absolutely fictitious and never happened? There was something about this in the Q magazine in 2005. It was the Keith

Quoteolorin Compared to the "If You Wanna Blood..." Live, it is a bad album. Less energy, same songs... AC/DC haven't done anything good between Back in Black and Stiff Upper Lip. Same songs? There´s not that many same songs on these two live albums. There´s lots of Johnson era songs on Live and many of the Scott era songs are different. The fade outs are a bit annoying but

Quoteandy jsBUYV definitely gets my vote for worst AC/DC album. closely followed by The Razors Edge and Ballbreaker (and that awful 1991 era 'Live' album) What's wrong with the Live album? I think it's awesome, at least the 2 CD version. Full of energy, good sound.

Mick did some press conference alone around Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle tours? One of the questions was "Is this FINALLY your last tour?" Mick´s answer: "No." I have it on some interview disc, its seems it´s only Mick talking.

QuotekinoliksmithIf THE EXPENSIVE WINOS comes back then do you feel that they will succeed as they during the late 80s and early 90s, providing Keith's ability nowadays.I feel that they can They will be nowhere near as succesful as they were circa 88. Only diehard fans (people on IORR) would be interested. Stones members as solo artists are history. Maybe somehow they could create a Keith

There´s a good story in the book Rolling with the Stones. "Once during the Steel Wheels tour they put a stripper under the stage. They wanted to see if I´d move to get a better view." -Bill

QuoteVoodooLounge13They've never really done a bad album, and this is one band that never waivers off of what they stand for and are going to sound like! What do they actually stand for? There´s hardly any messages in their lyrics. Maybe they just stand for rock´n roll...But it´s also a big business...

Show Business. It sucks, I guess. Flick of the switch is underrated. Razor´s edge is ok. Ballbreaker is pretty tired. I´ve heard three songs from Stiff upper lip, was not impressed.

There is a longer article in the paper version of Helsingin Sanomat. Roger Daltrey met Kari Nieminen in Los Angeles and got exited about these guitars. Daltrey recommended Nieminen to Rolling Stones guitar tech Alan Rogan. Rogan told Ronnie Wood about Versouls. Later Ronnie even invited Nieminen to his Richmond home. The home was like a castle, says Nieminen. "I gave Ronnie a guitar as a pre

In Finnish: Ronnie Wood has bought eight guitars and Keith Richards two guitars from this Finnish guy. His name is Kari Nieminen and he makes guitars in Helsinki. His guitars have been praised in Guitar Player. Also Roger Daltrey has used these guitars. Nieminen makes all kinds of models from acoustic to electric guitars.

It´s just OK in my book. The songs worked better live. Out of control is nothing special on the album, but it was great live and on No security.

This was a brilliant documentary. I have the VHS. The documentary is still relevant. Everything post 89 has been more of the same, in a way. The only drama after that was Bill´s departure. So the documentary captures all the most important aspects in the Stones history.
