yes please. the rumour came from a very dubious source. and it sounds like a shit title (as does 'Runaway Train')

i can't believe the band would use either of those lame fests

the bet is on. a tenner to losers charity of choice

Let me make this clear - I'm not exactly convinced they are good titles too. But for now, that is the only info out there. I really liked Stiff Upper Lip - good title, great record.

Wow. 8 years - that's as long as the Stones! I wonder who will be longer - month, days, etc...

to be fair, the title Strap It On was doing the rounds for about 3 years

and now someone claims its Runaway Train or Black Ice

i just can't see it. doesn't mean it wont happen though

i'd rather they just called it AC/DC

Eh, they don't have a self titled album do they. That would be good - make the last one self titled.

Strap It On. That's better than BLACK ICE! Runaway Train just sounds...terribly incredibly lame.

Or even Dirty Trombone. That would be right up their alley.

LMAO

some mental kid on a forum came up with Strap It On. and before you knew it it was all over the web and on metal sites etc

to me - a definitive statemnet would be to call it AC/DC

that way, you'd know they 100% believed in the music on it. to put the band name to an album would say 'yeah, this is AC/DC'

it wont happen of course. it'll be called Cocked And Loaded or something shit

How 'bout:

AC/DC LIGHTNING!

Gigantic lightning bolt in a tornado, like that popular picture.

I think AC/DC only released one CD of new material(and none in recent years) that the title was not from a song on the album.

Well, if you look at the Atlantic years, High Voltage was not a self titled album. But as far as what they did at home, you are correct. That's the only one I can think of as far as that specific thing goes.

I was thinking of Powerage, The song High Voltage is on my copy of the album

Aright - this should be the title of the new AC/DC record if they aren't gonna do a good one:

LICKED.

My bad. High Voltage is the last song on that album. Damn.

Blow Up Your Video doesn't have a title track. That's the only one I could find.

I always felt Blow Up Your Video was one of their better Brian Johnson releases.

BUYV definitely gets my vote for worst AC/DC album. closely followed by The Razors Edge and Ballbreaker (and that awful 1991 era 'Live' album)

as for album titles without a song of the same name on em, Powerage and BUYV are it (as mentioned)

we did of course also have If You Want Blood as a title before it was a song

Your're right. In "That's the way I wanna Rock 'n Roll" He refers to "Blow up my video"

From rollingstone.com:

AC/DC will reportedly release their Brendan O’Brien-produced new album Black Ice on October 28th. The album will be avialable exclusively at Wal-Mart.

From Blabbermouth.net (Roadrunner Records, who suck): [www.roadrunnerrecords.com]

According to a posting on the unofficial AC/DC web site AC/DC Electric Shock, AC/DC's new album, whch will most likely be called "Black Ice", will be released by Columbia Records on October 28 in North America and October 27 in the rest of the world. The first single, "Runaway Train", which was also a contender for the album's title, will be released in late August. Details for a world tour starting in late 2008 should be announced in the coming days.

AC/DC's new album will follow 2000's "Stiff Upper Lip". It was recorded at a Canadian studio with PEARL JAM and BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN producer Brendan O'Brien.

Sony BMG, Columbia's parent company, recently revealed that the disc will be sold exclusively through Wal-Mart stores, which has caused controversy with critics and fans.

Album was recorded at Bryan Adam's studio in Vancouver (not the same studio that they recorded Razors Edge).
I still can't believe they're only selling it through Walmart. I'm sure there's lots of towns in America (and especially in Canada) where there's no Walmart.

What's wrong with the Live album? I think it's awesome, at least the 2 CD version. Full of energy, good sound.

The awful things are the faded transitions between the songs, IMO.

Compared to the "If You Wanna Blood..." Live, it is a bad album. Less energy, same songs... AC/DC haven't done anything good between Back in Black and Stiff Upper Lip.

Sorry for my english ; I'm a french little boy (but I like it)
