I'd say it's true.... that's typical Plant, he got on board with Page in the 90's after Page recorded that album with Coverdale and then they - Page/Coverdale - toured together. He seems like the kinda guy that needs to be put up against the wall about these Zeppelin matters. It will be a one shot giant Worldwide tour, they'll make enough money to survive the world financial crash, and then Robert can get back to Nashville for album #2 with his cute gal-pal.....

Nothing on the BBC about this. And something about the way in which the article is written just doesn't sound right to me. The guys are "over the moon"? Does that sound like something anyone in Led Zeppelin, or anyone associated with Led Zeppelin would say?

It's in today's NME on-line. I was actually hoping this wouldn't happen though I suppose it'll be fun to take the kids to see them. I'd rather spend mad money on the Stones personally.

Fun to take the kids? It'll be cheaper to take them to Europe for the summer.

Not quite the same. Brian was already out of the Stones when he died. The Stones carried on without Brian. Led Zeppelin did not carry on without John Bonham. The Stones have always been very much about Mick and Keith, except for the first four years or so. Led Zeppelin always had more equal members. The song writing credits are one example of this.

....Brian was out of the Stones while he was still in the Stones... Alright, Bill Wyman then, Stu, whoever - still can't have it both ways Matti. John Bonham was great, Jason is pretty good but nothing special. Having seen them about a dozen times in the 70's and then seeing the 02 show on YouTube they still kick ass, not the same like the 70's but who does from back then? At least they finally played RAMBLE ON and FOR YOUR LIFE so you get some new live versions (They should add a second drummer to play along with Jason IMHO).......

that totally confuses me. So it makes a difference if someone was in the band or out of the band at the time they died? Led Zep will only be one original member down if they reform. The Stones are two down. Plus the drummers son is stepping up. And yet you think its not authentic?!

Much rather see a new studio album put out. I'm sure the ticket prices will be astronomical.

Yeah no doubt if does come off. we will be hearing this a lot. People whining and complaining about setlists and lousy playing. Expensive ticket prices. You know just like a Stones tour. Rock on boys. I've got a few spare body parts I can sell for a ticket.
