Nice to hear from the girls! CindyC, Angee and Proud Mary. Enjoyed your varied (!) comments.
Love the word "tedious".
Once again, the world knows that Jagger is the best front man of all.
And now they're seeing a sober Ronnie and Keith. It's a beautiful sight.
I to enjoyed Saturday night, but the event seemed different to me. It wasn't until I read this post, that this was the first time I had seen the Stones sober.
After years of party which approached almost a half-gallon a day. In 2006 I called it quits. I had a major health event right after seeing the Stones in Foxboro.
They are the greatest Rock and Roll Band in the world.

1) dumb. florence would have brought 3 people to the ppv. gaga will probably
bring a million.
2) dumb. not understanding how the stones owe a debt to Chuck and Muddy, which
they have always acknowledged.
3) dumb. not understanding that gaga owes a debt to jagger. she obviously
understands it, and is obviously only too happy to have this chance to
acknowledge it.
4) dumb. not understanding that the future of the stones rests on the success
of this ppv. not understanding how much gaga is contributing to its success.
not understanding how much more bruce should be doing.
5) when i saw springsteen in 1975 at the Guthrie theater in Mpls, I said to
myself, "what an egomaniac!" and he's never changed my mind about that.
But his primadonna act at the moment is, is... Let's just say he better smarten
up fast or Mick will rip him a new one in front of the whole world.

Keith's playing was monstrous (in a good way!)
Charlie was like a machine
Ronnie was superb
Mick Jagger is like a superhuman
Mick Taylor appearing was perfect

Sorry if this has already been brought up, I must have missed it.
Did anyone else noticed that when Keith got up to the mic to do his set, he kept looking at his hands, as though he had stuff written on them that he wanted to remember to say? I was thinking he was going to say something about the shootings.
He got such a huge response though, bigger than normal it seemed to me, that it seemed he changed his mind, like he didn't want to lose the buzz, bring down the crowd.
Perhaps it was my imagination, but it seemed he looked at them a few times.
there were teleprompters just in front of the stage so perhaps that is the explanation for mick
I recorded that portion. He looks down at his right palm, then twice at his left. I thought at the time that perhaps he had hurt his left hand, but your explanation seems more plausible. The response to Keith was amazing.

What happened to Charlie's plexiglass with the setlist?
Now they prefer Chuck with an iPadĀ®...

About an hour into the PPV, I just threw $800 at the screen.

Anybody notice Bruces guitar playing during TD? Capoed on the second fret and played one chord during the song. No chord changes. Was he even plugged in?

I never thought he was cool, he always just seemed like a real assshole to me. Now that he's dead, the stories are coming out. Here's a sample of the real Frank... not such a great guy as it turns out.

I'm feeling very stressed lately, and my way of coping is to speak ill of the dead.
