Most of the sportscasts in Vancouver are cheering for the Rockies since pitcher Jeff Francis is from here. Can't believe Cleveland choked! I'm sure the broadcasters are relieved the Sox are in the finals. They'd see really low ratings if it was Cleveland vs. Colorado. When the playoffs began, they were probably hoping for a Yankees vs. Cubs World Series. The last true "Wo

Alot of the hard rock/metal singers must have a tough time on a long tour. Rob Halford from Judas Priest, Coverdale/Whitesnake, McCafferty/Nazareth, Dickenson/Iron Maiden, etc. You would think that any bands like these would have to take a day off between shows.

Unfortunately, when interviews are in print, you never know how serious a person is in his responses. Perhaps it was a young reporter and Bill was just goofing around with him and the reporter took him seriously? For all we know, he could have called up the band afterwards and all had a laugh about it.

From the book Rolling Stones 40x20: Barry Feinstein was the photographer. Mick called and said,"We have something called Beggars Banquet," and he asked us to do the photos. Tom Brooks and I agreed to do it. I went over to my Porsche mechanic on Cahuenga Boulevard because I remembered that he had a funky f_cking bathroom. I said, "Let's put the Rolling Stones on the wall

I haven't read any bad reviews yet for the tour. Many reviews have said that the concerts have been excellent. Eddie and Dave seem to have patched up their differences and Eddie looks to be having alot more fun than the last outing with Sammy in 04. Also, it seems that Wolfgang has silenced any doubters. His playing is solid and his harmony vocals are pretty good.

In Canada, I honestly don't recall seeing any advertising for the CD. I knew more about it from this website than I did from any news source.

Just bought it yesterday. 2 DVD's, first is Bon years, second is Brian years. All live clips from various concerts/ tv shows. Includes Angus and Malcolm with the Stones doing Rock Me Baby in Germany. Overall a definite must have for any AC/DC fan. Great interview with Bon from late 1977. When I watch the interview, he kind of reminds me of Keith in the way he talks. Sort of slurs his

Best bass solo I've seen is Stu Hamm from Joe Satriani's band. During his solo, he plays the Linus and Lucy song from Charlie Brown. Awesome! Also, Billy Sheehan from David Lee Roth's original solo band. Even Eddie called Sheehan a bad motherf__ker back then! Watching him and Steve Vai together live was quite a sight to see.

Jeff Beck had a female guitarist with him in the 90's named Jennifer (can't remember her last name but Batten or something to that effect) who could be described as a female version of a Beck or VanHalen.

Not yet, but can't wait for December 5. From what I've read, they aren't doing any interviews on the tour. Perhaps that's a good thing. Also, the one thing I notice alot from the You Tube clips I've seen is that DLR is actually singing most of the lyrics as opposed to screaming and singing the occasional verse. I've seen him 3 times with VH in the early 80'

I live near Vancouver, so like all of Canada, everyone is hyped for opening night. To tell you how much hockey is loved here, when the Canucks introduced their new uniforms, they drew almost 9000 to GM Place for it and probably could have drawn more but the management only had the lower bowl opened! To JJFlash and JJFrash, perhaps Bill Wirtz's sons will run the team differently now that he

Welcome To The Jungle is an awesome intro. You hear this song played at alot of sporting events in North America to get the crowd pumped up. Several AC/DC tunes like Hells Bells, You Shook Me, Whole Lotta Rosie (especially live), etc. Also throw in a few VH like Ain't Talkin Bout Love, Panama, You Really Got Me.

Hi Paulywaul. I'm amazed you've never heard of Van Halen. They're one of the biggest selling rock bands of all time and Eddie VH is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. If I were you I'd go out and get VH1 and VH2 and see what you think. They're my second favorite band of all time! I see on their website they've added 2 Vegas shows between Christmas and N

When the US cut interest rates last week by 1/2%, our Canadian dollar immediately shot up several cents and now it's on par with the US dollar! Just a few years ago, our dollar bottomed out against the US dollar at around 62 cents. Lots of Canadians now going across the border to do some shopping in the States, which is good for US towns close to our border. Ontario is hurting with lots o
