Sam recorded alot at RCA in Hollywood with Dave Hassinger engineering some of the sessions. I always wondered if he influenced the Stones to record Good Times when they were recording at RCA. I bought the Sam Cooke greatest hits ABKCO remaster hybrid SACD which came out just after the Stones remasters. Sound quality is excellent both on SACD and regular CD.

KISS reunion tour in 96 Vancouver. Very loud but not distorted. Also Van Halen last month in Vancouver. I didn't think it was too loud but when I got home and went to bed and rested my head on my pillow, my ears were ringing! Blondie actually plays alot of guitar during the Stones concert. I think with most venues, the sound quality depends on where you're sitting. As far as the VH tour goes, it looks like a huge success with all the additional dates being added. 5 shows in New York, 4 LA shows, 3 Chicago. I'm sure they'll start to book European shows over the Summer. Can't wait for next Wednesday when they're in Vancouver.
