I mentioned here a while back that I was really surprised at how much guitar Blondie actually plays in concert. At their last N.A show in Vancouver, he played on the first few songs but he was sitting down behind Chuck so he was hidden from most of the crowd. I was on the floor to the left of the stage so I could see him clearly. Overall, he played guitar on probably half the songs.

From the news reports I heard, she was in a doctor induced coma but she said her favorite musician was Robbie Williams after she awoke. I didn't hear anything about her awakening because they had his music playing.

There's always been talk of a Faces reunion for many years now, although I think the main problem was Ron's Stones commitments. I remember when the Faces did a reunion appearance a few years back, they had Bill play bass! It would be awesome to see him play with the Faces! Any reunion would probably consist of a quick tour of Europe and major North American cities.

Aren't Bon Jovi doing stadium shows over in Europe? If so,it's obvious they have to either lower ticket prices or play smaller venues! I still can't believe how popular they are. I saw them in 86 on their Slippery tour in Vancouver (where the album was recorded) and they were big then. Lost interest in them after that. The new country/rock album they released sure did wonders

The legendary VH Brown M&M rider! I'm wondering how many promoters actually read the contract that carefully that they had the brown ones removed? I'd never heard of the Stones connection though. I don't think VH had that rider in 78 so the concert would have been the Orlando shows in 81 when VH opened.

One must remember that at the time, Johnson was one of the biggest tv stars in the world with the success of Miami Vice. He was also good friends with Glen Frey who wrote You Belong To The City, which I think was on the show. I remember reading an interview with Johnson and he said he was at a party and was walking into the bathroom when Jimi Hendrix was just walking out. Johnson pointed out

This topic has been discussed previously. I personally hadn't heard the ALO version so I wasn't aware of what ABKCO was complaining about until someone posted that version in the Hot Stuff section a few years ago. Basically the Verve took the music and added lyrics to it. No different than someone taking the music to Satisfaction, adding new lyrics, and then saying it's their so

Plant was also annoyed at the fact that Coverdale and Page put out an album together. Coverdale replaced Ian Gillan in Deep Purple. He sang on Burn, Stormbringer and Come Taste The Band. Formed Whitesnake after Purple disbanded. Jon Lord joined him as keyboardist. Their biggest album in the States came out in 87 with Still of the Night and Here I Go Again. They've always had great d

Blondie plays guitar alot throughout the show. I was actually amazed at how many songs he plays on. I think the first three or four songs of the show (Vancouver) he was playing sitting down behind Chuck hidden from most of the crowd.

Watching the NASCAR race on the weekend and just before the race started, they had interviews with several drivers asking them who their favorite bands are. I kind of assumed that they would mention country singers like Tim McGraw or Brooks and Dunn. I was surprised to hear some of the answers. They asked five drivers, the first three I can't remember. One said Aerosmith, one said Metalli

They've been recording for the last couple months at Bryan Adam's studio in the Gastown district of downtown Vancouver. Not the same studio that they recorded Razor's Edge but they worked with Mike Fraser before so hopefully it'll have the same sound as Razors.

Further to my response on April 10, both the Canadiens and Sharks are now involved in game 7 in their respective series. Canadiens blew a 3 games to 1 lead over Boston and Sharks failed to win game 6. Colorado won their opening series over Minnesota, with Peter Forsberg looking like the Forsberg of old. Rangers also won their opening round, with a bit of an upset win over New Jersey.

Saw him in Vancouver on March 31,very good show. Played alot of newer songs which I didn't know since I'm not a die hard fan. During the show, he said he said he noticed a fan that's been at several shows so he "made the mistake" of asking him if he had any requests. The fan wanted to hear a song that was one of the Born In The USA outtakes (later found out it is cal

Saw Ace a few weeks ago in Vancouver at the Commodore Ballroom. Pretty good show, definitely looks old! One good thing is that his drummer sings so they played Love Gun as one of the encore songs, with Ace singing during the chorus. He said he wrote must of the songs that he's performing but that was one that he didn't that he wished he did. Also, introduced 2000 Man as a song writt

Reading my response from last October and I must have been psychic! Rocky Wirtz really moved the Blackhawks into the 21st Century. Home games now being televised, bringing back Hull, Mikita and Esposito for PR and Kane and Toews played awesome this year, with Kane being the front runner for the Calder trophy as Rookie of the year. With a couple key free agent signings, the Hawks should be in th

Mick's chickenshit to get on the same stage as the Beach Boys?!? I'm sure you can catch the current version of the Beach Boys at a local casino near you. I believe Mike Love tours with a backup band now a days as the Beach Boys. I think the only time the two bands shared the stage was the TAMI show.
