Quotebuffalo7478 Show Woody respect like he showed by being wasted and/or careless and playing crappy leads during several tours for paying audiences? Woody may be one of the nicest guys in rock music. I respect him for that. His playing with the Faces was great. But I am not a fan of his playing with the Stones at all - especially LIVE 1+ + + + +

Quotedrbryant Quotebackstreetboy1 headly your off your rocker, rod sounds great lately, new album is fantastic, and he's been sounding great live.you tube it for yourself. I last saw Rod at Hyde Park a couple years ago. I thought that it was barely passable. Rod's voice was shot and that band of his, with their black ties and Las Vegas arrangements, was awful. The saving grace was pro

QuoteMax'sKansasCity QuoteSweetThing QuoteMax'sKansasCity Quoteandrewt Ron Wood rocks, man. Yes he does, he is one of the best rockers ever and good man too. I have never heard Ronnie quoted as saying a dim word about anyone, but that doesnt stop the dumb fks from their non stop shit slinging at him. Good for Ronnie for not being a quitter like that quitter Mick Taylor, who only l

Woody is Rod Stewards sideman and will always be....he was the wrong choice for the stones from day one doesn't matter if he is playing with them for such a long time. Darryl isN't a Stone either after 20 years playing with them.

I know you guys will yawn but for me Ronnie will never be a true Stone. He is as a matter of fact the copartner to Rod Steward in look and playing.

Quote24FPS Keith will come up with anything to justify their actions. Funny, isn't it, how they never, ever needed 3 guitarists the previous 50 years? In fact I don't think they were happy with the '81 Kansas City concert when they did have Taylor. It's all to cover that Keith's fingering is suspect at this time. He can still manage some chunky chords, but his soloing has

QuoteKRiffhard QuoteBowieStone QuoteKRiffhard Dear Mick, people like good songs. A Bigger Bang is a poor album full of fillers. 'Doom and Gloom' seems a Goddess outtake very similar to the awful 'Everybody getting high'. 'One more Shot' it's just a decent X-Pensive Winos outtake. The problem is that you have to get back to work as a real team and not to prepar

People who are happy don't have to repeat telling how happy they are. Bill has become a bitter whining old man....

Quotetreaclefingers Quotestonehearted It's a myth-busting interview for 2 reasons: Mick is the show, really. We back him. A ha! Charlie is Mick's drummer after all--he must have hit Mick that time in Amsterdam for waking him up at 5 a.m. Who's the driving force in putting the band back on the road? Well, you wouldn't do it if Mick didn't want to do it. You

M.T. should hire a personal trainer to get in better shape and to fit in the band.Go for some salads Mick. His playing ist still fantastic. For me it is more important to have M.T. back rather than Bill and on top that there will be no whining thereafter.

Quoterumple21 Wyman has done well for himself hasn't he? A wealthy man now happily married (we presume) with three daughters and living his life as he wishes. And now in his mid-seventies one has to admire his seemingly youthful outlook on life, still hungry to play guitar and perform. Retaining a youthful outlook and growing old stylishly seems to be a hard trick to pull off for many of

Bowie has ceased since the early 80s, to be relavant music history - he himself has said that he knows that Never let me down was his low point. And now he says simply: @#$%& you, I do not want to be your hero and introduces himself to the museum. And no - or very few - remember it, even if it really catches the eye.

Quoteowlbynite QuoteGRNRBITW Quotegotdablouse Not earth shattering but a nice listen... When was the last time rock'n'roll had an earth-shattering record? 1973, maybe? How about Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell in '79? What he did to Peter Tosh's "well runs dry" is pretty awful and the rest of the album is very much is big store listening.

Since he was successful only with stuff close to the Rolling Stones (Wandering Spirit) he can only survive by recruiting a new band and most important to leave Dave Stewart and Matt Clifford far behind.

I'm sad.....after the hype in january about what extraordinary we will get, I'm dissapointed. There is hardly any songwriting and again and "old" star ist trying to cover himself and recycle the past. Its a good album though but by far not as good as the media talks about.

QuoteTMONTANA I wonder how much they paid to get those awards,l mean be real, a band made up of 70+ years old men,the best live band for 2012???? If anyone deserved that award it should have been Bruce Springsteen and The E street band, they actually toured and played live, for months in 2012... As much as I like and appreciate Bruce and the E-band. The difference is...the Stones were magic and B
