Did Rolling Stones reunion work?

Bill Wyman has had an extraordinary career, spanning more than five decades.

While much of that time was spent with The Rolling Stones, he has also had several solo albums and still tours with his band the Rhythm Kings.

Bill joined BBC Breakfast to talk about his life and career in music and why The Rolling Stones only allowed him to play 2 songs on the reunion tour.

He's right mind reunions don't necessarily work, perhaps both some fans (myself included) and Bill were naieve about the extent of his involvement. At the same time, I don't think he expected to play an entire show but more than 2 songs (10 mins) - 4 or 5 songs would have been a decent number to give him.

I can't believe that he didn't know which songs he'd be doing until they were going on stage. Can't be true, surely?

Tbh it affirms what I've said before, they have a complex relationship with Bill.Deep down they like him but have difficulty showing it, they have pulled together to support him in the past, but equally as much as they enjoyed his presence in Nov they probably didn't give him a seconds thought until his two number. In all fairness, Bill seems to hold the same ambiguity towards them - deep down love but not much in between.

There's more variety in his solo work...
Nearly everytime the stones did something different, it was keith, ronnie or mick taylor on bass.
He had the chance to play all sorts of genres in the stones.
I adore Bill, but I also think the man is a bore.
