He is one of those writers that is a little too much in love with his own words, but still a nice article.

I believe that this is not Bill Wyman of the Stones but rather an American writer with the same name...

You are correct stonesrule, the very same writer who wrote the infamous review of Life from the perspective of Mick Jagger. It was entitled, "Please allow me to correct a few things.."

I guess if you're born with the name Bill Wyman, you're entitled to use it.

But if you decide to become a rock music writer, I think you are now a little too close to the field the "other" Bill Wyman works in.

To avoid confusion, call yourself "William," or throw in your middle initial.

Same could be said for the British guy who directed the movie "Shame," who is named "Steve McQueen."

Talented guy, but he needs to call himself something else. In the film world, that name is taken--and owned by a film legend.

Good points

Let's call him Bill WyNotMan from here on out to avoid confusion...or we could call him Bruce.

Wasn't there a well known London columnist in the 60s name George Harrison?

What's wrong with Perks anyway? Is Wyman more rock n' roll than Perks?

This "writer" is a total schmuck. He has a history of loathing The Rolling Stones.
