Who on earth would buy them with nothing new? Not me...unless 'Its Only Rock 'N Roll' has been remastered to sound better. Does anyone know if there's improvement in the sound of this one?

I think it's a masterpiece--it's different than the last one and the first two. That's what makes the Dolls so interesting! I can't imagine the Rolling Stones making an album as diverse as this one these days. It's got rock, reggae, blues, ballads, India-influenced songs. My favorite is "My World." Just amazing. 5 stars. Maybe the Stones should hire Todd Rundgr

It can't be a bootleg with all that copyright material on it. Mick and Scorsese would have slapped down an unofficial release in a second.

Nobody will buy any any of these. Maybe a few of 'Sticky Fingers,''Exile On Main St,' 'Some Girls,' and 'Tattoo You.' The rest will end up in the remainder bin where they have been at my local shop for years. Still don't sell there either.

A beautifully-produced hardcover book--complete with a pink faux-satin cover--of pictures taken during the Dolls' heydey by photgrapher Bob Gruen. Contains both color and b & w photos and is available now from Amazon for only $14.97. A must-have for Dollheads!

Why not Bill Wyman playing bass like he did when the Faces reformed for one performance in the 90's. I think that would have a bit of symmetry to it! I can't wait to see them again after all the years--last saw them in 1975. I wouldn't pay $5 to see Rod Stewart these days. This I will pay whatever they're asking. If it's 1/100th as good as the New York Dolls shows have

BLACK ICE is the 1st AC/DC album I've ever bought, believe it or not. And I'm 52! What is another album you guys would recommend? I really like three songs on the new one--"Rock 'N Roll Train"(but the chorus is "runaway train"?), "Big Jack" and the one that steals the melody line from "Born In The U.S.A." and sounds like a Rod Stewart song fr

Who on earth would go see Led Zeppelin without Jimmy Page...???? Would you really go see a band calling themselves the Rolling Stones with Rod Stewart or Steven Tyler "borrowed" as the lead singer? Hmmmm. On second thought...

I love Ronnie. He is an integral part of the "Stones sound" that most people recognise today. Not Taylor, not Brian.

It's turned into utter commercial nonsense. They lost me by never inducting the New York Dolls, the Faces and Roxy Music...certainly three of the most influential bands in history.

Mick Jagger killed the Rolling Stones in 1973. Its been his back-up band ever since. ALL of them. He's no better than Rod Stewart. He keeps Keith and the name for financial reasons only. He certainly no longer has any loyalty, originality, song-writing skills nor does he care about any musical or creative legacy other than what they accrued pre-1973.

Do these people have mirrors? I love Keith but he looks worse than my dad did when he died last year at 76. Couldn't he dress a little better? And what the heck is Jerry Hall wearing-other than no make-up. She can't dress any better than that?! Sheesh. Money certainly does not buy class...that's for sure.

Why don't they just resurrect Rolling Stones Records? Dolly Parton is now on Dolly Records.

A Bigger Bang didn't sell 1.1 million its first week...at least not in the U.S. I think it has only sold a little over 500,000 copies here total.

The greatest rock 'n roll show I've seen in 30 years other than the Rolling Stones. Steve Conte is one of my favourite guitarists in the world-and he is the most rock 'n roll-LOOKING guy out there. Please come back to the Southeast, you beautiful Dolls.

I really liked it--I've always loved his (and Keith, Charlie and Rod's) sense of humor--and I'm not even British! There are a bunch of chronological mistakes and I was thrown off by the "Chuch" chapter that was just thrown in out of the blue, but I read it in two sittings. Couldn't put it down. And I have NEVER been able to get through Bill Wyman's autobiog

The Rolling Stones aren't with Virgin anymore are they? I doubt they'll sign another record deal...it's pointless these days for artists as well-known as they are, especially when CDs will sell less and less. They should do like the Eagles with Eagles Recording Co. and resurrect their own Rolling Stones company or sign with Live Nation like Madonna. Even McCartney isn't on

LOVE "Charmed Life"...listen to it over and over in the car. Bruce's album is absolutely magnificent...the first album I've bought of his in many a long year. It's up there with his best work. The "hidden" track at the end choked me up so badly when I first heard it...I thought of my brothers. I was in my car. People must have thought someone had just die

Wow. Bryan Ferry and the New York Dolls sold 6,000 copies of their last albums the first week here and nobody knows who they are. I don't see how that would even pay for the manufacture and distribution of the CD. Sad Sad Sad

I love Mick--I really do--but I really don't understand his album cover choices sometimes...for his own work or for the Stones. Why would you pick a picture of yourself for the cover of your album that makes you look like a cartoon character of a braying jackass? All he needs is a beat-up straw hat on to complete the picture. First he looks like Yoda on the cover of 'Primitive Co

That's the worst collection of songs imaginable. The singles aren't even on there like "Throwaway," "Hard Woman," and "Say You Will." And why not put hard to find versions of songs like the video versions of "Lucky In Love" and "Hard Woman" on there? And hard to find B-Sides like "I'm Ringing," "If Things Had Been

Thank you very much for that info. I can't get over how few albums sell these days. It's really the end of the line for records and record stores. What saddens me is that music will be SO disposable from now on. No more "discovering" your mom's jazz, rock or r'n b collections in a closet somewhere. No more famous album covers.
