T&A, I'd say he got a little too mellow on "Bring 'Em In" but he's one of the guys who very rarely do something that's not outstanding. And still, "The Price You Gotta Pay" with Keith is wwwwonderful!

nine lives is a good one; not as consistently solid as his previous outing, which was his best post-traffic album, imho....tell tale signs is beyond criticism, of course. sal soundtrack? not so much...

title track of buddy's is "good mellow" - funny thing about it is that everytime i hear it, i start singing allman bros "soulshine" (same basic song structure)...don't know if the fact that derek plays on this one is just a coincidence or not (of course, when soulshine was recorded, derek wasn't yet in the abb, formally)....

yeah, it's hard to recognize lovely Norah Jones on the second one! ;^)
speaking of Allman Bros Band and Soulshine ("better than sunshine, beeetter than moonshine... damn sure better than rain!"), cover art of "Where It All Begins" is unintentionally kinda funny ;^)

I'd prefer to be screwed by a bloody regiment of Cossacks than listen to whole Metallica album.
