They would be the laughing stock of the music industry if they were to tour behind some type of "Exile" re-issue.
I'd rather see them just call it a day if they were going to attempt a project like this. The good news is I highly doubt there is any truth to this rumor at all. Forum: Tell Me
The album is kind of a flop.
It will enter the charts at #2 (behind Kanye West) while selling about 300k copies it's first week. I would have thought that after all the hype the album would sell 3 times that and enter the charts at #1. Forum: Tell Me
The market will continue to go down after a couple of up days, but the good news is the bottom MIGHT have been put in.
There is still a long way to go before we can say we are out of the woods, but today was a very positive sign. Forum: Tell Me
Keith has gone backwards over the last decade or so.
Keith is happy these days living off of his image rather than be the artist he was even going back to the "Talk is Cheap" era. Forum: Tell Me
I thought "Memory Almost Full" was quite a good record."
It got to #3 in the States (just missed #1) and stayed in the top 10 for a month. He also got some decent airplay with "Dance Tonight" as well as some play over at VH-1.
The album went platinum in the US.

It would be cool to see the only figure in the music business of their stature share the stage with them.
Besides, haven't they played with just about everyone else at this point? Forum: Tell Me
I thought "Now and Then" was a fan made video?
If that was to be the third "new Beatles song" they were wise not to release it. The quality on the original Lennon version is very poor. Forum: Tell Me
Keith needs to be Keith for this new record to be worth anything.
My best guess is late summer 2009. That would keep in line with releasing albums in the mid to late summer followed by a tour. That is the pattern they have followed since "Steel Wheels" Forum: Tell Me
There have been a couple of reports in the United States over the last couple of days that the Stones are about to sign a multi album deal with Live Nation.
Has anyone heard anything about this? Forum: Tell Me
They looked so young. I can remember at the time (nearly 20 years ago) everyone that thought they were ancient.
It's amazing that not only are they still around. They are still the biggest band in the world. Forum: Tell Me
