No 2010 tour most likely means no 2010 album. I hate Walmart, but their marketing and Jack White would deliver a #1 album for the Stones.

Mixed Emotions is an ok pop song. It sent a good message to the fanbase after two very dark albums (Undercover + Dirty Work) that left many people thinking the Stones were breaking up. "Sad,Sad,Sad" might have been a better lead single in retrospect followed by "Mixed Emotions" and "Out of Tears"... "Rock in a Hard Place" just sounds way to 80's for

To add insult to injury Pat Robertson is blaming this tragedy on the people of Haiti for because they "swore a pact with the Devil" It's extremist nut jobs like this that hold humanity back.

I have a hell of a lot more in faith in what Charlie has to say than what Keith or Ronnie say. They are both fountains of misinformation.

It's not a coincedence that Jagger worked on this album with a producer who wasn't just another yes man and created a great album because of it. The Stones need to work with someone who has the balls to tell them no when needed.

This is cool and all, but who cares about three un-released tunes from 40 years ago? I'm all for opening the vaults when the band is all done, but I couldn't care less about this release.

Isn't this kind of an open ended statement? The whole "at the moment" thing has me scratching my head... It leaves me with more questions than answers. - Why would the Stones even come out and announce they they had no plans to tour? What do they have to gain from this? Who cares if they won't be touring? Why not just stay quiet? - Doesn't the whole "at the mom

729. Re: If...
The Stones need a producer with a vision that has the balls to tell them no when necessary. Is it a coincedence that Jagger's best solo record by far was produced by Rick Rubin? Jagger and Rubin clashed because Rubin wouldn't let Jagger mail it in. They also need to stop trying to have top 40 hits (Streets of Love, Anybody Seen My Baby) and just make quality rock/blues music. To see

Who cares about three extra tracks that weren't good enough to make the album? This re-issue should offer much more than that. If the Stones are going to use this as an excuse to tour behind they should just give it up now.

How boring would a tour for a re-issued Exile be?

Old School: In my humble opinion a straight blues record of old cover songs would be kind of boring. I wouldn't mind a hardcore album of blues originals with a couple of covers thrown in, but an album of old covers would be boring.

What about the reports of Jagger and Richards writing together in France? Is there anything behind that or was it simply a false internet rumor?

If so in what form? I haven't heard anything, but very vague rumors about an album and a tour starting sometime around the third quarter of 2010. Here are some of the various unconfirmed rumors I have heard over the last several months: - Jagger is writing with Dave Stewart and that material could be used for a Stones album or it could be for a solo project... Nobody seems to be sure

^ Taylor re-joining the band would have almost no effect on ticket sales. It's not like he is a "name" guitarist like Eric Clapton. If anything it might be a negative if Wood were to be fired. People might think this was one lineup change too many too late in the game. The vast majority of the public only knows Ron Wood as the Stones guitarist. It has been more than a generation

Anybody know who had the bigger stage between the Stones Steel Wheels or U2's current 360 Tour? I remember the 1989 Steel Wheels stage to be massive, but I just caught U2 this week in Boston and that stage was immense. Just wondering.

Should we assume that there isn't going to be a solo Mick album in between? What about the rumors that Jagger was in the studio with Dave Stewart? Lets hope that if he did any writting with Stewart he saves the best stuff for a new Stones cd. The Stones need to make a quality album this time out. How many times can they play stadiums and just play the warhorses? I truly think Jack White c

From depression (false Charlie rumors) to exhilaration. A new album produced by Jack White sounds VERY promising. This is our first conformation in quite some time that the Stones plan to keep Rolling.

QuoteMel Belli Sales of those games are already starting to slide. Same with ringtones. Fads. The best way to generate new fans is to make the live shows more affordable. But, assuming there will indeed be more live shows, that's not likely to happen. Just wait a couple of weeks until the "Beatles Rockband" comes to market. The buzz is overwhelming. They are going to crush exis

Chickenfoot had an fairly impressive debut on the American charts. - They entered the Billboard album chart at #4. - Were briefly at #1 on both Amazon.com and I-tunes - The Single "Oh Yeah" was at #30 on the rock charts In a rare move the album was released on Friday which hurt it's position on the charts the next week. Not bad at all for 50/60ish rockers debut album.

I don't want to hear nothing, but 40 year old songs AGAIN. How would an all Exile show be that much different than the last couple of tours where they played almost nothing but pre 1980 material? I would prefer a new album + a tour that shows off that album along with some of their newer (Voodoo,B2B,AB music with a few warhorses + covers thrown in here and there to keep the general audie
