Yeah, but the US + the UK are the ones that count.

That Starbucks sales data may hurt a little but it won't kill it. Besides, the album (as of this second) holds the #2 + 5 spots at Amazon.com The last Stones album sold ok worldwide. It was #1 on the worldwide chart for a couple of weeks. Plus, it was #1 in 13 or 15 countries. So to say there is no interest in new Stones music is wrong. W/out new material why continue? I'd

If Starbucks proves that they can sell new music from classic artists I'd bet the Stones would have some interest.

Gazza: I hope your wrong because the closer we get to the cd the more I think McCartney actually has a chance at the #1 slot. If Macca hits #1 how long will it be before the Stones are on the Starbucks label? I hate the entire "rivaly" thing, but I do think Jagger (and his huge ego) would be a little jealous of a late in the game McCartney #1 cd. Stay tuned.

I know I'm wasting my breath (It's clear that the Stones don't care about the fans at this point) but I can only speak for myself. I will be in Europe several weeks this summer, but will not be buying tickets just on principle. As a matter of fact I hope they play to empty stadiums this time around. Nothing says rock and Roll better than a $400 ticket (or whatever the equival

It seems McCartney puts out one very good cd followed by a very mediocre cd. 1/ Flowers in the Dirt (very good) 2/ Off The Ground (mediocre at best) 3/ Flaming Pie (very good) 4/ Driving Rain (weak) 5/ Chaos + Creation (very good) 6/ Memory Almost Full (mediocre/weak) McCartney needs a strong producer/co-writer who has the balls to shoot down some of his weaker material. At least

Um, Led Zep broke up almost 30 years ago. The few shows they have done since then have been w/a replacement drummer since Bonham is dead. Led Zep 1/ Is no longer active 2/ Does not have all it's original members.

Dirty Work is better than: 1/ Steel Wheels 2/ Satanic Majesty 3/ Goats Head Soup 4/ A Bigger Bang 5/ Emotional Rescue I'm not saying Dirty Work is a great record, but it was better than (or at the very least as good as) several Stones records. The album takes a lot of crap because the mid 80's was the Stones low point and they were an easy target with all the fighting/media

The Stones need airplay next time around to sell some cd's. I'm interested to see how the new McCartney cd sells with Starbucks behind him. Starbucks promised Macca they could move copies of his new record. If his cd sells it could be used as a model for the next Stones cd.

Khane did a very poor job with Driving Rain. Godrich made McCartney work on Chaos + Creation and it showed. Much like the Stones later day music McCartney's new stuff is always compared to his best material. Which also happens to be the best pop/rock music ever written. I actually like quite a bit of latter day McCartney + Stones music. If some of it were put out by a new band it w

How can a man as talented as McCartney turn out such trash? How does a producer allow a song like "Ever Present Past" to be made. Never mind as a lead single off arguably the biggest name in music's new album. McCartney needs to work with a strong producer who is not afraid to tell him if something is not very good. I simply can't believe what utter trash this song is.

Neither one of the two news songs are very good. Although many people seem to think "Under the Radar" is one of the best from the ABB sessions + should have been on the album. I have no idea why they think so highly of the song. Like much of the album it's simply ok at best. In reality it is nothing but filler or a b side. If the Stones had cut several songs off the album

All this crap that's been in the press. And then I hear the first show sold out. And that the second one is 99.9% sold out. So what's the truth? If they did sell these shows out I think the press owes the Stones an apology.

Doesn't the fact that the majority of shows have been in the US tell you something? How many times in the last quarter century have the Stones kicked off a tour in England? The USA is a better Stones market than the UK.

The USA loves the Stones. But, they are here to often. It seems like the Stones are in your town every night. But, the Bigger Bang tour was huge in the USA. I always thought the Stones were more of an American band than a UK band. Nobody in the USA knows or cares who Robbie Williams or Oasis are. But, the Stones just had the higgest grossing tour of all time and most of it was due to US

Who cares really. If your going to see the Stones what's the difference? West opened for U2 and none of their fans bitched about it. Maybe Kanye can help them sell some tickets. I say keep an open mind. I thought the Black Eyed Peas would suck. But, I can say with a straight face they were the best opening act (they had Fenway on it's feet) I have ever seen open for the Ston
