Too bad that the one Ronson that I'd want anywhere near the producer's chair for a Stones album, i.e., Mick, is dead. He did a nice job on that Morrissey album that came out just before he bought it.

Richards: I can't say I listen to that many newer performers. I don't like digital much. I don't like the sound. I'm very happy that there are plenty of bands around, guys playing together. There are so many now. It was easier when it was just the Beatles and us! But I think we might make another album. Once we get over doing promotion on this film.

looks like Mark Ronson is producing the next Kaiser Chiefs album from what I've read.
he didn't say anything about it and only the reporters mention the Stones.

i doubt a 2009 and 2010 album. i think this is the timetable they might tryif they release another album i say mid 2010. they hit up some random countries in 2010. then north america in 2011 and europe and the uk in 2012 for their 5oth and they call it a day after that

Hey I think that after ABBtour they have already some songs for 2010 album. Hopefully they won't release another 16-track disc but, lets say, 8 or 9, and that will be allright... We'll see :-)

The trend is to make very big, 2 or 3-year long concert tours after every album. So '70 with a disc full of new songs every year won't come back...

Neil Young has released 5 studio albums since 2000... No, six. Stones - two live, one studio.

There are at least a complete album from 2002 sessions in Paris...
