Wow, I had a feeling someone was going to do this! There is also a pending third source though I have no idea when it's coming out, taper apparently hasn't had time to deal with it.

No bad experiences this year that I can think of. Didn't trade too many times and often just use prior connections. Torrents are making trades obsolete anyway. But I am still on dialup. Going to have access to broadband starting tonight through Sunday morning so I will stick a few things up on Dime, Rocks Off and Hunger City.

"I have a friend that claims he likes the Stoens but constantly bashes them! In your opinions, who is better musically, the Stones or the Grateful Dead, please explain...." Who is better? Probably the type of person who can listen to all kinds of music or who doesn't think bashing someone else's music makes them a better fan.

The first part of the tour was amazing with both setlist and energy output but toward the end it seemed like they were going through the motions. Saw this tour 7 times. Oakland 1/25/99 is still one of my top 3 favorite Stones shows ever.

"lying....cheating......caught......apologise.......take another id.....and do the same thing over again....caught.....and once more take us for fools.....and once more the same procedure.....BEWARE!" Well, I can't get all indignant over it, as someone who has personally recorded plenty of Stones shows, there is a lot of lying and deceit involved in making it possible. Well, exc

Rammstein at the Palace in 1998. Had no clue who they even were but I was in the neighborhood and someone on the street handed me a free ticket. Still hands down the greatest show I have ever seen in my life by anyone. Also found a hat in the pit and Rob Halford's Two opened. others: (Free) Rolling Stones NDRC STaples show 2003 the rest in 2006: Mark Knopfler/Emmylou Harris, The New Car

Hanoi Rocks - unknown in the U.S. Mudhoney, even more unknown now which suckes because their last album is their best one ever. Actually WAY too many to name, I mostly listened to KXLU in the early 90's when I could still get it and made most of my CD purchases based on what I like. I still think the early 90's are the greatest music period in history. Somewhere along the line I tu

I saw this tour twice, at the Hollywood Bowl and in Devore. Motley Crue sucked at the Bowl but was still fun and they were really good in Devore. Aerosmith was great both nights. Had third row center in Devore.Probably even better than the November Stones show I saw. Personally I think 80 mins is a perfectly acceptable amount of time for any band to play regardless of ticket prices or the size of

But I have been listening to XM 44 "Fred" a lot lately which plays a lot of early 80's New Wave and Postpunk stuff including U2 and it really isn't any better than a lot of the bands

"The fact that they stopped playing live before everybody could notice the huge differnece between them and great live acts has helped them consolidating their legend. " They could have been great live. The huge arena & stadium rock concert had yet to be refined and perfected when they were touring. For the most part they and the show organizers were winging it. Well, except

"Noone deserves a half empty stadium more than Axl." The funny thing though with high ticket prices and only one shareholder with everyone else on salary, he is probably making just as much money if not more per gig than he was in the early 90's. But I agree this tour is a joke.

Rock N Roll isn't meant to be original. If you are looking for originality you have the wrong style of music. Seems anyone who says ".... is a Stones copycat" is the type of person who only listens to one band and can't really be considered a music fan or authority at all. I have Shake Your Moneymaker and liked it when it first came out but I saw them once and it bored me almo

"why is an inro or a riff not protected by copywright laws? they are stealing music that someone else created." This would open a whole can of worms in regards to the Stones own catalog for sure. I think this is something they would rather leave alone. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

"That list of unavailable shows is simply amazing, especially considering this really could be the last time we see them in North America as part of a World Tour." Tickets are really expensive while both sound and taping conditions for the most part totally suck. Keep in mind next time if you really really want your show you should consider taking matters into your own hands. But

They may owe a few Europeans a show next year, otherwise there is absolutely no obligation other than the standard agreement when conducting a business transaction. In other words, they owe you nothing. If you think so, you are imagining a relationship that doesn't really exist and you may be in need of professional help. If you are disatisfied with a product, keep it mind the next time prod
