"Ahead of it's time ..." Just listened to it again and it sounds like hit n miss latter era Stones to me.

QuoteHairball QuoteDan Ghost Hounds opening A shame there's nowhere to safely hang out and pre-party outside the stadium while the opening act is performing. I have a Sofi account which is supposed to come with Lounge access but haven't looked into any of that yet. I assume because I have Lucky Dips I can't use my private entrance.

MINISTRY. At least we get the Melvins but my birthday weekend was going to be Ministry one night and Adam Ant. I was already bummed when KMFDM was replaced by Helmet for 2021 (who I also dig but didn't fit) Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of the band, fans and venue staff, Ministry’s upcoming tour – scheduled to kick off in October – has been moved to March and

I was thinking of buying the rock bottom cheapest and just self upgrading into the unsold close seats like I did at GNR but a friend told me this stadium is not easy to move around. So I set the budget for 150-200$ but still aiming for a lot closer than what's available for that price now. Probably gonna just buy off Tickpick that afternoon (***). The fact that travel & accommodati

QuoteTumblinDice76 Hairball-that is why there are so many tickets left. Lots of people just choosing to eat tickets too. Not much of an effort to protect fans. I am associated with parties who both resell tickets and sell primary market tickets. The first half of the year, and especially March thru June, there were indications we were on the verge of a massive post-Covid boom and there was g

Quoteswimtothemoon Why would they add the additional show if the sales for the one show were not selling well? It's technically near sold out. Most of the tickets are on resale which is not the promoter's problem but if those tickets aren't moving then that suggests little demand for additional tickets. They needed another show to replace Jazzfest and thought the demand would

QuoteStonesfan2146 Why should they cancel the 14th show? 3 weeks to go and tens of thousands of tickets available. And the ticket count is going UP too. I have it on my screen permanently and I am always seeing new tickets light up, the ones they hold back to scalp themselves.

Your Oct 17 tickets might be a little easier to move once they cancel the Oct 14 show but there are just so many tickets on resale right now. Also at the beginning of the year when events started going on sale again there were Covid waivers on most ticket pages.

" This is a phenomenon previously unseen at this level. People who bought tickets but just won’t show up, because they’re afraid of getting Covid. They don’t want to risk their lives for a couple of hundred bucks. The truth is almost nobody wanted their money back from shows canceled in 2020, they held on to their tickets, but now that the dates are playing…some are unsure. " This i

Quotecyclist What do you predict ticket buying will be like for the show on the 17th? Do you think the scalpers will be panicking now that the 14th has been added? Will Ticketmaster drop more tickets? Should I just want until a few days before the show and see what happens with Stubhub and TM? Any (good) advice is appreciated! The situation is fluid, Basically concert ticket sales fell

Quotejmd QuoteHairball Seems to be selling much slower than St. Louis... I recall these same conversations for the Dodger Stadium show on ABB tour, particularly after the postponement to Thanksgiving Eve 2006. Sales were slow then too. By the time Stones and their promoters worked their magic—markdowns, 4 packs, free tickets, offloads to secondary resellers—the place was full. That worked out w

Glad to hear about the weather, I really wanted to check out the zoo so I added an extra day. Flight/hotel on points and even a cheapo "in" to watch the spectacle on the screens is fine with me. QuoteTumblinDice76 I was just looking at the St. Louis ticket map on TM. They have actually eliminated seats as well. Those sections in the lower bowl directly to the side of the stage, have been eliminated by about 75%. This would be a great show to have LDs. $25 next Sunday in St. Louis would probably get you a REALLY good seat! I am coming in, will get my ticket day of unless someone has a s

QuoteTopi The resellers would only lose a lot of money if they had to resell under face value. Can you do that on Ticketmaster? Their FAQ says you can't: Naturally, if somebody has bought, say, 6 or 8 tickets with the sole intention of reselling them all for profit, they'll get hit. Then again, professional scalpers run such big pools (across the board on the entire tour even) th

Quote24FPS The problem for me, an L.A. resident, is the newness of the stadium. Never been there. Don't know the lay of the land. Don't know how scalpers will work. Don't really know how to get there, how to park. I hear parking is ultra expensive, like $60 USD. Plus I was listening to Steve Jordan drum on the Chuck Berry documentary. Okay, but................ FGL had a twice postponed stadium tour opening for Kenny Chesney (now in 2022) so a lot of fans already have tickets though opening acts are never assured especially with multiple postponements but KC prefers a strong undercard for his stadium shows. Ticket prices were insane. Market is just completely oversaturated with country shows. And amphitheatre shows on the east coast into late October

"Legacy" is a fan invention. No one remembers Muhammad Ali's last fights. 20 years from now it will be their recorded output, kind of as it is now, not because they did shows with partial lineups or because of the Las Vegas 2016 setlist.
