Violet Grohl was the featured guest on David Bowie's long pianist Mike Garson's residency at the tiny Sun Rose (capacity 120) tonight but Dave dueted with her on Show Me How and played drums on Heart Shaped Box. Jimi was on tour pretty much 24/7 for those 3 years while the Stones did about 20-25 shows with only a few festivals. Aside from the Woodstock movie which was kind of an outlier, there was very little commercial outlet for live concert footage at the time.
