I think that Stones should do what Pearl Jam, Metallica and U2 have done, i.e. to publish on the web every show they did this tour. Fans would be happy and they would not have to put out another useless live album on the market.

Great archive of misheard lyrics is here: BTW: The title of this page comes from "Foxy Lady" which is probably the most common misheared lyrics all time. 'Scuse me, while I kiss the sky --> 'Scuse me, while I kiss this guy.

I love this song, one of his best tune, very touching. But I don't think it would work well on stadiums. The only place I can imagine it live is a small club (but very small - less than 1000 people), Keith playing piano,

Yes, apart regular singles bands release promo versions which are not availbe at stores and they for exclusive use for press or radio. Sometimes they have only one track, sometimes there is one track in several different versions (edited, remixed etc.), sometimes there are some bonus tracks. General rule is that if you can buy it in store it's a single, not a promo. If you hear it on the rad

Not Fade Away isn't a warhorse and it worked well for VL tour in my opinion.

As far as I remember they've been rehearsing She Was Hot and Little T&A at least since 2002. But maybe this time they'll get into the setlist.

Have they ever played full version of Memory Motel live? As far as I remember during B2B tour they skipped couple verses and a bridge. What about 94/95 & 06 versions?

In a interview in 2002 Keith mentioned that they had written nearly 30 tracks in a month. In a interview before the release of ABB Jagger said that all of the songs were written in 2004/2005. That means there are still many potential songs that may never see the light, from Forty Licks sessions alone. Plus some songs from previous albums, that's a lot of material to choose from. They can put

Looks like Paris, Olympia - these golden courtains behind the stage gave me the clue. And there's a description from a person who has posted it: spring of 1967, Theatre de l'Olympia, Paris. the last concert-tour for Brian Jones. with some scrap of footage, from '64 UK-Tour and "Between The Buttons" session at Olympic Studio in 1966. note : sound and picture a

When they come back to Europe in 2007 it would be good if they had something to tour behind. The most possible option is to release live album (like in 82 and 99) which will we the easiest and the cheapiest way to have a "new" album on the market. But what if they released a new studio album? I don't count for completely NEW album, but they have plenty of good outtakes from SW, VL

We Had It All - T Seals/D Fritts. Keith's demo version from 1979 is just beautiful. Drift Away - Dobie Gray. Now that would be a warhorse! and It's Only Rock and Roll which was actually written by The Faces.

It's been a year this week since A Bigger Bang was released. Time passes by very quickly, doesn't it? What's your opinion on album after a year? Has it changed? I still see it as a very good album, although I would reduce it to 11-12 songs and add Under the Radar to it. Best songs (then and now): Rough Justice, This Place is Empty, Let Me Down Real Slow, Laugh I Nearly Die. Song

We've been talking recently how some Stones records (like Exile and Dirty Work) were received the moment they were released and how they are today. What do you think: how ABB will be assessed in 20-30 years from now. Assuming that this is the last Stones studio album, will it be considered a classic confirming that the Stones are (were) the best band in the world or rather a swansong, poor a

The have to come up with something special to make up all dissapiotment with cancelled shows and boring setlists. So this is my suggestion for London's setlists: Sun Aug 20 2006: 1. Brown Sugar 2. Sway 3. Wild Horses 4. Can't You Hear Me Knocking 5. You Gotta Move 6. Bitch 7. I Got the Blues 8. Sister Morphine 9. Dead Flowers 10. Moonlight Mile 11. Sleep Tonight 1

I don't expect many changes. Maybe they will change opener to Brown Sugar, maybe they replace Streets of Love with Biggest Mistake. Keith will probably change at least one of his songs and that will be it. They may also change running order a bit but I guess there is no chance for a completely new setlist.

BTW: isn't it strange that everytime Mick has sorethroat problems it's always in Europe (cancelled shows in 1998, 2003 and 2006, also show in Rotterdam may 1990 shortened due to Mick's voice problems).

According to BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/4791667.stm): "The Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang tour will continue as scheduled at London's Twickenham Stadium on Sunday, followed by shows in Glasgow, Sheffield and Cardiff." Seems that both Spanish shows are cancelled. Really sad...
