Since everyone was excited about the boys playind Dead Flowers in Kentucky, I was thinking the boys could probably do a whole show in New York with just songs that reference New York!

I'll start it off:

Shattered
Honky Tonk Women

Imagination
Dancing With Mr. D

Let Me Go? It was during their "New York" period and the bit about gay bars/move to the west side of town stikes me as totally NYC.

Incorrect, unless you are assuming that NY is one of the fifteen states.

Must be something about the west, because West Hollywood is (or used to be) considered the "gay area".

To all my freinds in New York City.....

it's in the ad-lib section towards the end of the track.

With a smile on your face and a tear right in your eye

As for NYC, i think we can add “Do You Think I Really Care?” (written in 1978, never released)

As for orher name- places of USA, without including covers (only songs written by the Stones), i can remember these:

NEW ORLEANS- Brown Sugar, Parachute Woman, Rip This Joint, Till The Next Goodbye
BATON ROUGE- Memory Motel
BOSTON – Midnight Rambler, Memory Motel
CALIFORNIA- Sweet Virginia, Winter, Far Away Eyes
LOS ANGELES – Far Away Eyes, When The Whip Comes Down
HOLLYWOOD- @#$%&
SAN JOSE- Rip This Joint
ZUMA BEACH- Some Girls
TENESSEE- Rip This Joint
MEMMPHIS- Honky Tonk Women, Rip This Joint, Strictly Memphis
VIRGINIA- Sweet Virginia, Dear Doctor, Dancing With Mr. D
PHILADELPHIA- Jiving Sister Fanny
CHICAGO- She Was Hot
DETROIT- She Was Hot
BUFFALO- Rip This Joint
DELAWARE- Hold Back
SAN ANTONE - Memory Motel, Memo From Turner
TEXAS- Too Much Blood, Rip This Joint, Memory Motel
DALLAS- Rip This Joint, No Spare Parts
SANTA FE- Rip This Joint
MIAMI- Luxury
TAMPA- Rip This Joint
LITTLE ROCK- Rip This Joint
ALABAMA- Rip This Joint
BIRMINGHAM (Alabama)- Rip This Joint
PENTAGON- Sweet Neo Com

Maybe i forgot something. As you can see, the catalogue is long. It’s impressive: USA places which are mentioned by Stones songs are much more than what they mention from the other world. Much, much more.
Think, in the years 1968- 1978 EVERY Stones album mentioned places- names from USA! Everyone…
