i saw shane with the pogues last year..loved it! i saw him with the popes back in like 1996...great stuff he's one of the greats ..too bad he's a ragin alcoholic... word at the show i saw last year was that between songs shane would go hook himself up to an air machine as he's in such bad health....

he can check in rehab and attend the rock'n'roll hall of fame induction! the two are not exclusive..evidently he is using it as an excuse.... there might be some serious bad blood now between him and roth if there were, as i suspect, disagreements over money which led to the tour being scrapped..
