The video quality was pretty small and awful, IMO. Such is the nature, I suppose of "streamed video". Maybe you saw a different feed?

I'm guessing that it's his daughter in the pic because when he was presenting they flashed the audiance and I saw Theo and she looked like she had an empty seat next to her. Can't really tell from the picture, and it didn't say who she was.

No Sammy and Michael were in pretty good shape. Velvet Revolver did Ain't Talkin 'bout Love, then something else I didn't recognize.

Sammy and Michael just came out for Why Can't This Be Love

well on my setup the video is very sharp in the original 'window' that arrives when the 'page' loads up... but i 'full screen' it...and yes it's then a bit grainy...but i don't stay right on top of it...the audio comes into my little computer stereo with sub-woof system really exactly fine, depends entirely on the engineers and stuff...it's a great sense of visceral presence i think, having it live...i could watch it small screen with pretty sharp vid but don't need to...

that dance footage of james brown, all the footage, but especially that sustained dance footage...that is historic...beyond belief...i can see that a thousand times and still get chills...nothing i've ever seen from alvin ailey to ballet to the greatest front man in rock and 'n roll history can really just rise straight off the planet like that for minutes at a time...holy moly...god bless you james...
get ready for t.a.m.i.

LOL that pirate pic above is classic!!! haaaaa...great job with that!!! haaaaaahaaaa

God, the STP guy that fronts Guns 'N' Roses (Velvet Revolver) just creeps me out. That was a HORRIBLE rendition - the music was Good but the singing SUCKED !!! The fart sound at the end was pure class by Scott STP - Effing creep.....

Sammy and Michael trying SO HARD with a house band dragging their ass, no energy, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE...... Where was ROTH? WHAT IS WITH THESE BABIES !?!?! ROTH lives in NY doesn't he, come on..... VAN HALEN has just taken the gold medal away from SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE for all time rock and roll train wreck......

At what age do you stop fighting and be glad you were in a very successful band? I mean, even ROGER WATERS played with his Pink Floyd mates and did an excellent job.....this is just beyond PATHETIC....
