Quotetreaclefingers QuoteLeonidP QuoteGasLightStreet I need to understand something: Stones fans actually bought this monkey album thing? In whatever form it was? LOL, I agree! And I normally wouldn't have (and didn't for a long time) but I'm a sucker for large price drops, so I bought it yesterday. But I'm not happy with myself. If anything, I figure I can eventually

QuoteFather Ted Even for Stones fans, there are some remarkably ill-tempered and downright hostile comments here. Just cut him some slack. In fact, cut him a shed load of slack. Jesus Christ, none of us are perfect people. Some people are only too happy to ignore the Stones bad behaviour yet constantly have a pop at Bono for doing f&cking charity work. Ease up for god's sake or beco

QuoteRip This wonderful groove. too bad RW doesn't get the opportunity to write more with these guys... He's had his share of co-writing credits. Sometimes, to me anyway, it works, like with Hey Negrita, Dance, Everything's Turning To Gold ... and sometimes it doesn't, like I see he is credited on Fight, Dirty Work, Had It With You.

A very good album. I've always said, Ronnie's had the best solo albums compared to all the other Stones, including former and current Stones' members.

QuoteLeonidP One of my favorites on the album. Keith's vocals are top-notch, and what a great groove! Just listened to this again today. Such a great track, for me anyway. Again, the groove of this is fantastic.

QuoteNaturalust ...How come Rene isn't authoring this thread? I recall in my early IORR ignorance starting a Track Talk thread and getting beat up pretty badly ... I am guessing because this is not an official track, so it wouldn't be covered in the 'official' Track Talk. As far as the track goes, I always enjoyed this one. The chorus is great!

QuoteWild Slivovitz ...I love Emotional Rescue... especially the drum sound. Yes! Emotional is never near my top in Stones records but I do think this album is where Charlie is at his best -- and the production probably helps that a lot as well.

Loved this one on first listen. Beautiful track musically, coupled with Keith's best vocal effort, easily. Not to mention, what I consider great lyrics! I never tire of this one.

Emotional Rescue's 3 ripping tracks: - Summer Romance - Let Me Go - Where The Boys Go always lag behind the 3 from Some Girls: - Respectable - Lies - Whip Comes Down For one, the Some Girls tracks came first, and most importantly, the lyrics on the Some Girls tracks are far superior.

Quotebitusa2012 Just awful. Absolutely no redeeming feature at all. Dross. IF it was by anyone else, own up, you'd ALL hate it. Agree, the only thing it has going for it is that it's not as bad as Back To Zero.

Black girls just wanna get F'd all night was in Some Girls ... and I'm sure it was in at least 5 or 6 other songs.

QuoteNaturalust . If you listen to the lyrics of that song it is obviously about a woman, most likely Anita! I seriously doubt it was Anita, she was pretty damn smart, cultured and sexy in 1966. She didn't get dumb for a few more years... peace They were discussing the All About You track. I recall from way back when that was released that Keith said it was about Anita.

QuoteRedhotcarpet Angie and Fool to cry sound and are real Stones numbers. Streets of love is a solo project. Another difference is Mick's vocals. Totally agree, but even more, for me at least, it was the repeat of same type of track album after album. I actually like Out of Tears and Already Over Me, but then it seemed like he was becoming Aerosmith, and had to include the same type of p

QuoteWitness The closest I come at an horrible song myself is "Melody", which I understand that others might like. Neither am I that keen on "Tops", which I have noticed quite a few more than like Wrong on Melody, I think that's a great one. I agree w/ you on Tops, although I like it, it is also one of those that get highly overrated by many a poster.

after waiting 5 years on apple to come out w/ a 128 gb ipod touch, i gave up ... they just finally have the iphone 6 w/ 128 gb, so I bought one somewhat cheap, that can't be connected to the phone network ... just to use as an ipod touch. Finally I have an mp3 player that can hold all my songs!

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteLeonidP QuoteDandelionPowderman You missed my point again. I never wanted you to like the song, merely pointing out that it was possible to enjoy some guitar playing in there. I still do. No I didn't ... it kills you that anyone could claim to be a Stones fan and then bash a song, no matter how bad it is. This is proven time & time again. I see a SOL track
