I hear all piano and barely any guitar, from the samples. Agreed, terrible mix.

QuotePapo LeonidP: You admit openly that you download music illegally? ... People like you should be banned from the internet. Ok, that would leave you and about 4 other people that could access the internet. Have fun with that.

QuoteIrelandCalling4 QuoteLeonidP Quotefrankotero For me Pop was their low point... It sure was! I was a huge U2 fan before that album. Rattle & Hum is U2 at its finest! Pop is U2 at its worst. The new album is somewhere in between (i guess, obviously). Rattle and Hum has some good songs; it got absolutely slated on release; and to a point, still is. The arrogance of the band, ingratia

i don't think there's a weak track on this album, but if I had to pick a least fav, it might be this one - I still like it a lot, though.

Quotebuttons67 some girls is the most overrated ... It is by me, I suppose, but it's the album that got me into the Stones, and I played it so much, that I know every note by heart. For me, it remains right after the big 4, at #5!

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteLeonidP Quotewindmelody There may be some nice stories in the book, but it remains a huge disappointment. It is written badly, and some episodes are described in an embarrassing way... Basically it was Keith being interviewed by the author. Keith told the stories as he remembered them, sometimes accurately, and sometimes probably not -- remember he took a lot of drugs.

QuoteBrstonesfan Never enjoyed his solo stuff. Garfunkel was what made him good. Agreed, that Call Me Al must be the worst song I've ever heard!

For me, it was small purchases, not about monetary value. I had recently read a book (guessing around 1981) that made me aware of 2 items I've never seen, or heard about ... Jammin' W/ Edward and Bill's solo Monkey Grip. I found both on cassette in a bargain bin, for about $1.99 each - it was in one of those record stores that used to be in every mall at that time, I believe it

QuoteDandelionPowderman Harlem Shuffle anyone? Could have been included on ANY Stones album without making the album poorer, imo. Not terrible, by any means, but still, covers like Ain't Too Proud and Just My Imagination are far better, imo.

QuoteStoner72 Quoteab One Hit to the Body beats anything on Undercover. Maybe, but nothing else on {i]Dirty Work even comes close. It's very likely their worst record. Likely? No question about it, Dirty Work is really non-listenable. I'll take One Hit (decent, but not as great as many here try to pass it off as) and Too Rude, but the rest can be trashed. Undercover is not

It's such an amazing track, clearly the best on the album. Musically, just wow! The interplay of the guitars and harmonica just reach out & grab you. I understand the lyrics aren't for everybody, but I've always found them interesting and funny.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteLeonidP QuoteCome On Everything released since 1986 is better... and before ... So why do you think this is the poorest Stones song ever? I was exaggerating. I still think it's highly over-rated by folks on this board. Simply its not that great. Many other ballads trump it, from 1989+, as far as I'm concerned ......... Blinded By Love, Out Of Tears, B

Tokyo Dome is fine, but he ultimate Mick solo live show was at Webster Hall: Mainly because I was there, and secondly because guitarist Jimmy Rip kicked serious ass!

QuotePecman .... I don't know why Stones fans put BB in the Top 4... I think it's Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile and Some Girls hands down. Pecman I do. For me, it's tracks like Symphony, Stray Cat Blues, Jig Saw Puzzle, Parachute Woman, Salt of the Earth. I love Some Girls but these songs blow away anything on Some Girls, easily.

QuotePietro ... Beggars Banquet would be a masterpiece if you swapped "Jumpin' Jack Flash" for "Jigsaw Puzzle." ... Jigsaw Puzzle is, on its own, a masterpiece. Far superior a track than JJF, I feel, although obviously JJF was the radio hit.

QuoteRockinJive Love The Stones. I hate punk music. I think you miss the point. Punk music really is a term to denote a change in musical style, deviating from the norm, etc. He is saying that the Stones were his 'punk' i.e. that the Beatles were more of the in thing, and that the rebels that wanted a more rad style approach went w/ the Stones. As he says, the Stones were rawer in so

QuoteLieB Doing an "unplugged" concept doesn't really make sense with the Stones. They've always done a lot of acoustic stuff, ever since they wrote Tell Me and As Tears Go By. It's an integral part of the band, and I think it would be a little silly (over simplistic, perhaps) to label a whole concert or album as "unplugged". Bob Dylan did one

Not from Texas, but no matter for me, I think this is a brilliant cover. It's done really well and Mick's vocals go great with the melody. A+
