I have often thought that Keith should play Gimmie Shelter in Open E live and Ronnie could play the part Keith does now. I think it would sound awesome. I mean Ronnie doesn't really play too much on the live versions, just lots of fills really

The total guitar issue had the backing track but no tab due to copyright. I remember the issue. It had some in the style of licks in it.

I suddenly realised why some of my excitement for the band has gone for me. In the past there was always something that defined the tour/period. There was always excitement at the start of a tour as to where the band was at both musically and personality wise. Now I have not had that feeling since BTB tour. Now I think there is no excitement about change. This is the final model you know?

Of course hampton and the early versions are great, but I only play acoustic. I have played the orginal way on an electric before but I love the sound Keith got from the 95 acoustic version and the barre chords on the electric don't sound nice acousticly. So if anyone would like to help me. I know you have better things to do....

I know the electric version's I think.. but listening to the acoustic version from the 95 stripped sessions. I wanna play this! Is that a 12 string and how is this version played? What key are those nice flamenco fills played in? Are they open chords? Thanks in advance

This version is superb, It captures the haunting sound on the orginal. Why can't the stones do it? Paradiso version is amazing but not the same groove as this. By the way I truely believe the band (the stones not wino's)were at their peak around 93-95. Stripped is so good. Man i cannot believe they only released the paradiso version of Shelter on Wild Horses single. It is the gre

The difference between Live Licks and No Security is that No Security is far better sound than boots of the tour. It has been mixed and background noise reduced and instruments levels ajusted. Live Licks is just an audio rip of Four Flicks with some background/crowd noise taken out. There are boots just as good or better whereas No security was worth the price. Find a better sounding YGMR or
