For smoe reason i can't get Wild Horses down like Keith plays it on Stripped. Any suggestions?

StratoGR, de solo on Satisfaction is basicly a "simple" (the notes he plays not how he plays it because it sopunds great!) solo in Eminor.

This is a good idea and I am especially keen on sheet music of ABB. ABB seems to be the first (regular studio - though I have Stripped and Still Life, too) long player without a songbook published since Beggar's Banquet! I could easily buy them here in Germany in stores selling instruments - the books were edited in the US or in the UK.
Plus a few compilation songbooks and I have at least all Jagger/Richards songs complete - including weird songs like So Much in Love and You Must Be The One. If wanted, I scan them for you. There even was one of Keith's first solo lp.

I'd truly love to have a tab of ALL the guitar parts of You don't Move me from talk is cheap: there are a couple I truly can't figure out!

Hi liddas, I'll mail it to you this evening, I gotta go to work, now. It has the chords, the melody (usually with the chord notes - youÄll see what I mean) and the bass lines with the lyrics.

Here smiling smiley

Try it with open G-tuning. That's the key. If you need some help with the minor-chords, then feel free to ask again. I search for a tab then.

Re: tabs and chords

In Dead Flowers, Mick Taylor uses a country blues scale.

D string: 7th and 9th fret
G string: 7th & 9th fret (also bend the 9th fret up to the 11th fret)
B string: 7th, 8th & 9th fret (also bend the 9th fret up to the 11th fret)
E string: 7th & 10th fret

He will also change position by sliding up on the 3rd string 9th fret to 11th fret (using your 2nd finger). Then he'll play B string (10th & 12th fret) and E string (10th & 12 fret).

There is a little more to it but that is about 90% of it.

Has sombody tabs for Sweet Black Angel?

Re: tabs and chords
Posted by: JJHMick ()
Date: November 26, 2006 14:49

If you give me your e-mail addresses and a little time to copy and scan I'll send you Sweet Black Angel and Anybody Seen My Baby from the original songbooks of Exile and BTB. Those usually don't list solos (as asked for with Dead Flowers). The only exception to that I have is Steel Wheels with Keith's and Ronnie's licks given. Therefore, on SW each song has about 15 pages, on the regular books songs rarely more than four.

My e-mail is finalick@hotmail.com .The bad thing is that they don't have tab books on sale.I mean each for every album. They only got books that contain greatest hits, which I don't because it's easy to find on the Internet.

I would love someone to tab Keiths SFTD solo from STLouis B2B show. Also the Acoustic beast of burden on Strpped Companion i can't figure out.

Re: tabs and chords

Yeah I would like the solo from st louis and general solos, like the two great at steel wheels tour, satisfaction and sympathy.

Re: tabs and chords

Usually, they don't have the solos, but intros and outros - exception is Steel Wheels which is a version for "professionals" with more than lyrics plus chords plus melody line plus bass line. I'll sure fulfill your requests but probably you're searching for more than one single song?! In that case name the longplayer and I copy the whole songbook - sometimes it contains nice pictures and stories, too.

Got a sweet black angel, up upon my wall

Well, she ain't no singer and she ain't no star

But she sure talk good, and she move so fast

But the gal in danger, yeah, de gal in chains
D G
But she keep on pushin', would ya take her place?
G G/F# Em Am
She countin' up de minutes, she countin' up de days
D G
She's a sweet black angel, woh, not a sweet black slave

Ten little niggers sittin' on de wall
Her brothers been a fallin', fallin' one by one
For a judge's murder in a judge's court
Now de judge he gonna judge her for all dat he's worth

Em Am
Well de gal in danger, de gal in chains
D G
But she keep on pushin', would you do the same?

Em Am
She countin' up de minutes, she countin' up de days
D D
She's a sweet black angel, not a gun toting teacher
D D
Not a Red lovin' school mom, ain't someone gonna free her
G G
Free de sweet black slave, free de sweet black slave
G G
Free de sweet black slave, free de sweet black slave

This tab is from the internet. It's pretty much correct.
You probably need to do some hammer ons/pull offs while playing
the G chord to make it a bit more intresting.

Sorry, this is not a TAB but just chords. A mistake made many times on the guitar websites.

Yes, I believe so. Don't know if it's in the key of C# or E, but the riff is played in the 6th position, where your index finger forms notes in a barre C# that normally has the lower C# the 5th string. The rest of the chords are E, A and B, I think. I can draw a tab per request.

By the way, nice thread! I've played many Stones songs, mainly from the '68-73 period, so I'd be glad to help out with any requests (regarding chords, tabs, rhythm, lead, open tunings, anything)
