Man I remember watching this show live and being blown away.

when was the show..

The performance took place on October 25, 1997 from the Capitol Theater in Port Chester NY, and was broadcast live on MTV for a program they had on at the time called, "Live From The 10 Spot".

As I recall, Out of Control was absolutely fantastic, and Gimme Shelter was incredible! The Boys in a theater setting; something we all wish for but seldom (in my case, never) see.

Thanks JoeHill. A great surprise this morning. One of my favorite Stones songs, and one I would not have predicted them doing that evening on MTV. Powerful.

I also love the Voodoo Lounge period, especially the tv appearances they made in support of it. Anybody, especially my Euro-friends on the board, have similar recordings from appearances made on tv broadcasts across the globe?
