That was part of the "Steel Wheels" Image re-work program.
Before '89 I did always think Charlie was the worst dressed man in rock n' roll.

Why do you care about the clothes? As long as they play good I don't care!

Yes the flashy gold and purple gears got to go.....NOW!!!!

Since the mid 80's he's been wearing some horrible clothes on stage.

Ron and Charlie are always great looking. Keith doesnt seem to care anylonger but it's not that bad.

The silver jacket is cool though

Micks dress sense when off stage is very cool. Beautiful suits, cool t-shirts and jeans. Onstage he can be hit and miss. Some cool spangly jackets, but alot of awful cheap looking tat aswell. I realise he has to be visible to the masses but really? Check the mirror occasionally!

Better than the f*cked up jump suits from 1972....

Better than the crap American Football uniform on the 1981 tour.....

Mick usually has the best outfits. But I can see what you mean. Some of his outfits this tour have been a bit odd. He needs to be more punk rock and less flashy. Go back to the clothes he had during the Goddess in the Doorway period and he was the best/coolest dressed man in rock.

I like Mick's belts and T-shirts but it's Ronnie who has the killer wardrobe.

I don't care about the jackets or shirts, just take all the black pants away from him. I hate to see him so predictable in his style. Compared with the black pants,I'd love to see the football uniform back!

Mick's clothes on this tour are designed by Heidi Sulmain from Christian Dior. He's probably the most sought after men's designer in the business right now.

I like Keith' blazers and Ronnie's leather jackets.
Did anyone else check that they hardly ever were the same shirt again but walk in the same shoes onstage thru a complete tour ?
Remember Keith Converse boots in 2003 or his Doc's in 2005 -

Sought after for what? Heidi is a women's name. Isn't that the one that fell down the well?

truth is stranger than fiction sometimes............but yes Heidi in this case is a man, and he's sought after for his technique, and esthetic. The whole skinny pants craze...and on and on and on.........

nahh, micks stage costumes are cool flashy, shiney interesting, he's a performer not a random fellow who's wondered on stage, he has to stand out on stage, glad he made the switch to the red robe and hat for sympathy instead of all black, Yes, His wardobe now is a bucketload better than the '78 jumpsuits and '81 jerseys and most of the others, agre totally 100%

NEWS FLASH! Mick's on- stage wardrobe is SUPPOSED to be FLASHY, FLIMSY, and FUN and not meant as street clothes! They are also designed to be airy, breezy and clingy( why not, the man has the body of a 20 year old) colorful so everyone can SEE HIM! GEEEEEE! That was tough to figure out!
