"And I should know," he says with a rueful laugh - what, did they all hang out naked or something?
What, was this a new revelation to you ?

Dear British people: when you say "middle class" does that mean "fairly wealthy"? In the U.S., nearly everyone thinks they're middle class (except if you're on food stamps) but I get the impression that in Britain it means you're quite well off.

Oh the British class system is notoriously complex - almost impossible to grasp for a Limey, never mind a foreigner. Perhaps this will be of help.

This interview seems to put the kibosh to the story [put forward on these forums recently] that Mick T. was sexually harassed out of the Stones by Mick J.

That story was a strong contender for the most ludicrous Stones related theory ever.

I put the eyeroll-emoticon in my reply to sundancekid (in this thread), since he was speculating in Taylor's dental care costs/Jagger's role in it/royalty claims - something either he or we know nothing about.

Speak for yourself please. I don't waste my time speculating.

This dude is on Jagger's payroll or something. Kissing his a$$ shamelessly. I found it comical reading this again after browsing throught the track talk on 'Time is On Our Side' or whatever website earlier tonight about 'Wild Horses', seeing Jagger and Richards both quoted about Keith writing the melody and chorus and Mick the verse lyrics, over a span of thirty some years of interviews, always the same, then, a 2011 quote from Mick Taylor saying the song was all Mick Jagger's from beginning to end. "Good call Boss! How'd you get to be so talented." He could've joined the Memphis Mafia with this attitude.

Upper Middle Class would almost by definition be high earners - able to send the kids to a good private school i.e. top tier bankers, lawyers etc.

Lower Middle Class - comfortable, home-owner, teacher, civil servant etc.

Upper class - aristos, big land owners - but not necessarily wealthier than the UMC group.

The difference between the US and UK is that many of your people who think, but perhaps are not actually MC, are more aspirational. In the UK, there's a large chunk of unemployable chavs ("the underclass") who are happy living off handouts, taking drugs etc.

Yes, it's the only reason. Do you think Keys says all the good words about Richards only for the money too?
