That song actually got me lost in the rolling stones....:-) Though I didn't know a lot about the rcording. It comes to me as a surprise: Is that right MT is not playing any guitar parts.

QuoteRockman he misses the adoration and excitement of touring with the Stones and is a bit too proud to ever discuss it with brutal honesty. YEP!!! ... Well put and he will never ever say the truth about missing the considerable financial rewards.

I'm pretty shure a new stones album will be marketed like the last U2 album through modern download/online channels for free and a couple of weeks later will be offered for sale. The Stones will get a flat fee which will be larger than any money they did with any album so far. They don't need to sell albums the old way.

Bill didn't play a lot on Exile and on many of the other records. His solo album he came up with recently after how many years? is as embarassing as to repeat million times the story of how he left or that he left and what happened with JJF.

hard to believe its 40 years......and sticky fingers is this week in the top ten of world record sales without an ronnie contribution....he just had nothing to do with the big and importane days their career, like Brian or Mick T. I hope he lives well with that issue. Anyway Ronnie I believe you are good for holding the band together! Thanx for that.

Bill, that poor old bitter man.....who left the band too early in order to benefit from the big money in the last 22 years.

Strange and poor documentary. They used the altamont footage to express their reactons on Brian's death. There was no Stu mentioned....

Quotedcba QuoteGJV This is a standard TASCHEN edition. There was a limited deluxe version released some years ago. This one could be the "working people" edition! >< And two years from now, it could be sold at a discount price. I saw the regular verion of this book sold for next to nothing... Bullshit! Thats as a matter of fact a complete NEW book in a very big form

Quotelem motlow the wino's were just not that good of a band. i saw them live a few times and they couldnt have qualified as roadies for the new barbarians. the production quality on both of keiths records is horrible, just like most of micks solo records its just not that good.as tele said they sound like outtakes from a rolling stones recording session where you can listen to jagg

QuoteMathijs I loved it. I only saw the Waldbuhne, but it simply was great. They sounded great, they played well, but above all: it was the first time in my life that I simply enjoyed seeing the Stones. I didn't care about the mistakes, the setlists or whatever. I thought it simply was a miracle that after being a fan for 32 years I was still seeing them play live. And I enjoyed simply that.

Düsseldorf need to be released. Stadium with closed roof. Keiths riffs sharp and loud as a knife and overall good playing!

QuoteThatsWhatISay I just returned home from the concert. Too exhausted to write a comprehensive review, but let me say this: F**KING AWESOME CONCERT! Probably the best or second best of my 15 Stones concert. And that comes from a guy who is very critical when it comes to the Stones performing live. The sound was loud and clear, very guitar driven. A thrill to listen to! My impression was that

Life goes on and on gatting harder and harder.....to overcome a tragic loss you need to do something, work or whatever. To only sit and grief doesn't make things easier and it doesn't make people becoming alife again.

Its the closest to RS-music, thats why Stones fans love it. She's the boss was much more an effort to step into different paths. Amazingly enough is that Jagger can hardly do anything decent without Keith.

The good thing about the Stones and the Beatles has always been they weren't best musicians but as a band far better than every brilliant individuals. Ginger is a very good bitter old drummer. Poor grumpy granny.

Quoteowlbynite Hasn't Bill really hit his stride with his restaurant chain? Even in that case he was very inventive by naming the restaurant chain "Sticky Fingers" which I don't think Mick and keith ever have asked royalties.
