Funny how you stumble across things on youtube...here's a full concert of the X-Pensive Winos, recorded by Rocklife television, on Nov. 29, 1992 in Cologne, Germany. Assuming I'm not the only one that didn't know it existed, here it is. Enjoy!

I was there and it was so good to have Keith in a hall, loud and rockin' no stadium Vegas shit!

This one is well known and bootlegged a hundred times. It was recorded and televised the same evening on German television.
This was one of the most perfect concert experiences I ever had. Driving to Cologne, getting a frontrow place, driving home and watching the same concert again on vhs. Never had this again. Just perfect!!

It was cool to watch last night, even though some of the editing got on my nerves and the audio wasn't that great.

Keith sure poured everything he had into those Wino concerts...a few times I thought, get that man a towel!

I remember watching this live on a big screen in a club in Oslo back then.

Frontrow memories while the tv camera's were moving over my head, Rotterdam & Paris were cool too. the best however was London !!

Was there as well. Watched the concert in a pub in Cologne after the show. Great night to remember!

The audio of the show was on CD days after the show...

the show was broadcast on German television on the very same evening – maybe just one or two hours after the show ended. I remember that my then girl friend told me that she didn't like the broadcast which she partly watched while I was getting back from the show.
btw: The sound in the venue was much better than the sound of the broadcast

I watched it too that night on German TV and less then a week later went to see Keef in the Ahoi Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

This show was released on a couple of bootleg cd's, one of the best was the Idol Mind version and later it was also on bootleg dvd.

A couple of years ago you could buy a dvd, semi official, in most recordshops in The Netherlands, but that one was not better then earlier bootleg releases.

Saw him around this time at the Orpheum in Vancouver Canada. They played so loud you couldn't tell one instrument from another and this alone spoiled the entire show for me. Small venue and it would have been nice if they could have toned it down enough to suit the place. Instead they knocked the roof off and it all sounded exactly alike to me.

I got a flight from Berlin to Cologne for that show.
saw Keith & the Winos arrive in vans and enter the place.
watched the show from 1st balcony on a 90° angle. I could see the front and back-stage area.
Pierre nearly set the stage on fire as a cigarette lit a Gaffa tape roll.
Pierre won +1 point - fire - 0.5 points.
no sleep for me 'till the first early flight back to berlin because of stand-by status.
A cute blonde stuardesse wanted to see the poster I bought (Who The FucZ Is Mick Jagger?) and then told me she was also at the show, placed me on a jump seat in the pantry and supplied me with lots of small bottles of champagne ... and then some for the road.
I was pretty buzzzzzed early in the mornin' and blonde cutie made my day.
