i like the music on those 2 albums they did after jim died but the lyrics and vocals are weak. the band thought about using iggy pop as their singer but figured the fans would not accept him or any replacement.

this i'm sure is not all that rare, but when i was 14 back in 1982 i nought a decca cassette in called " collectors only" being naive american boy i thought i found the holy grail because i never heard some of the songs before. and because of the title i thought it made me a collector. i loved that tape and nearly cried when it got chewed up in a defective tape player. i paid 5 dol

this feels like a 1969 muscle shoals mix to me before later overdubs. the production sound is very similar to to the early lynyrd skynyrd recordings done by jimmy johnson from 1970-1972

plundered my soul is still my favorite as for the some girls bonus tracks it's still too soon for me to decide. the extra exile songs felt like a separate album like a tattoo you part 2 while the some girls actually feel more like a double album.
